Gray Davis joined Thomas Obeid of Rockwell Group, Alicia Cannon of AJC Design and Margarita Calero of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) for an insightful panel discussion exploring timelessness in hospitality and multi-family design. The conversation centered on how proportion, materiality, craftsmanship, and adaptability shape spaces that endure beyond trend cycles, reinforcing the importance of designing around experience, context, and longevity. Local craftsmanship, repurposed materials, and a strong connection to place continue to inform Meyer Davis’s approach to hospitality design. Thank you to CARL HANSEN & SØN for hosting a wonderful evening alongside Nordblooms and Hakwood.

Framed by the fairway, shaped for living. Featured in ELLE Decor, Apogee reflects a new perspective on the private club experience. Meyer Davis approached the design through a human-centered lens, shaping how each space is lived in, both on and off the course. Developed in collaboration with Hart Howerton and owner Stephen Ross, the project reimagines the traditional club paradigm. Conceived as a home first, hospitality second, the villas are embedded within the landscape, with low-profile architecture, expansive glazing, and natural materials that frame the course and invite it inward. A shared perspective on how design shapes Miami living. Hosted by Teyo, Will Meyer joined leaders across architecture, development, and design to discuss the vision behind Midtown Park by Proper and the evolving expectations of residential living. For Midtown Park by Proper, Meyer Davis approached the interiors as a continuous progression of spaces shaped through light, materiality, and movement. Plaster, stone, and greenery soften the architecture, while travertine floors, brass detailing, and layered textiles introduce warmth, rhythm, and depth throughout. The conversation reflected a broader shift toward experience-led design, where hospitality principles, wellness, flexibility, and longevity inform how spaces are lived in over time. Thank you to Teyo and Midtown Park by Proper for bringing together such a thoughtful group and hosting the conversation.

These principles continue to guide our approach across projects and disciplines and have also shaped the Meyer Davis Auburn University Portfolio Prize, created to recognize students who demonstrate clarity of concept, strength of process, and excellence in how ideas are communicated, reflecting a shared belief that a portfolio is not simply a collection of finished work, but a record of thinking, exploration, iteration, and intention. Meyer Davis is continually inspired by the next generation of designers and proud to support a program that reinforces both craft and communication as essential to the discipline. The future of design is built through dialogue. Will Meyer recently joined Marco Credendino, Founder and CEO of Artemest, and Nick Perez, President of the Condominium Division at Related Group, for a thoughtful conversation exploring the intersection of design and real estate. Moderated by Elizabeth Fazzare, the discussion explored how design thinking shapes development from concept to lived experience, grounded in context, materiality, and a deep understanding of how people inhabit space. As the relationship between design and development continues to evolve, conversations like these highlight the importance of collaboration across disciplines to shape environments that are both visually compelling and functionally enduring. Thank you to Related Group and Artemest for coming together for such a special evening.
