  • The human brain is more complex than any AI model ever built. One cubic millimeter of the human brain contains 57,000 cells and 150 million synapses, all in a space smaller than a grain of rice. In a new article, our CEO Philip Moyer explains why this reality keeps educators central to effective learning in an AI-powered world. Read more: https://bit.ly/4uaasH6

Had a great time participating in a McGraw Hill Global Volunteer Week event in our NYC office last week. We filled backpacks with essential items for women who are being released from prison and who graduated from an education program run by Televerde Foundation (which McGraw Hill supports) in Indiana. Hundreds of MH employees volunteered thousands of hours of their time during our Global Volunteer Week this year. So proud to work at a company where employees care so deeply about giving back.   #RedCubeProud

  • Helping students succeed in science often starts with removing what’s in their way. At West Georgia Technical College, Caycee Tyler is using immersive technologies like augmented reality to remove barriers that keep students from fully engaging with complex biology concepts. The result isn’t just better performance in the lab, it's confidence, clarity, and students who see new possibilities for themselves. That commitment to student-centered innovation is why Caycee was named a 2026 McGraw Hill Pathfinder Award winner. Read more about Caycee’s recent accomplishments here: https://bit.ly/4a8P0tW

Real teachers. Real classrooms. Real results. By making progress visible and goals actionable, the Standard and Skills Graph in McGraw Hill Plus helps students at South Allegheny Middle School take ownership of their learning and keeps pace as their needs evolve. The result: better student engagement, clearer signals for teachers, and personalized learning built to scale.

  • On this #GlobalAccessibilityAwarenessDay, Kent Peterson, Chief Marketing Officer for McGraw Hill Higher Education, shares why accessibility is essential to ensuring every learner has access to the tools they need to succeed.

  • Accessibility is essential to learning, and at McGraw Hill, it is a core part of our product development approach. For more than a decade, this commitment has shaped the way we build ALEKS, our AI‑powered adaptive learning solution. From screen‑reader‑friendly tools to visualizations designed to help communicate beyond color alone, accessibility features can help more students and educators engage in our learning experiences. This Global Accessibility Awareness Day, we’re proud to reaffirm our dedication to removing barriers and expanding access to education.

  • Our 2025 Pathfinder Award winner Dr. Farah Bennani shares her perspective on how AI can reinforce great teaching while supporting student success. Check out her insights below!

AI isn’t replacing teaching; it’s reinforcing what good teaching has always done well. Dr. Farah Bennani describes AI as a catalyst for innovation that helps address long-standing student challenges. At its core, she sees AI as adaptive learning: a way for students to receive explanations, practice, and support tailored to their needs, on demand, and without adding pressure on faculty. The value isn’t automation for its own sake. It’s timely support, personalized explanations, and consistent learning outcomes, even when students engage at different times and in different ways. Used thoughtfully, AI becomes a tool that strengthens learning rather than disrupting it.

  • Supporting mental health at work starts with how we show up for one another every day. This Mental Health Awareness Month, Twana Young, Vice President of Academic Design – Mathematics at McGraw Hill School, reminds us of the importance of building habits of care that strengthen trust and support well‑being at work. #RedCubeProud

Learning is vastly more complicated than parking a child in front of a computer with an algorithm. It is physical, social, emotional, and specific to age, culture and even time of day. Look at this short video meant to visualize the trillions of possible learning pathways for a subject like Algebra 2. AI can help learners navigate this, but that’s only a small part of the process of learning. We need AI to be teacher-centric. It will help us shape the future and build the next 100 years of HUMAN intelligence.
