Among the candidates we interviewed, Jermontrez stood out for his passion and clear plan for a future in the building industry. Big momentum on-site in Tiffin! The Fieldhouse is progressing steadily — from roofing insulation and waterproofing to interior MEP rough-ins and Green Girt installs. Up next: exterior finishes and athletic flooring prep. 🏗️ We’re proud to partner with Heidelberg University on this exciting new space that will energize student life and athletics! Our team is making exciting progress at The Guild, a community-focused mixed-use development designed to elevate urban living in Columbus. Key highlights this month: ✔️ Roof installation in motion ✔️ Fifth floor framing nearly wrapped ✔️ Ground floor & common area MEP inspections underway ✔️ Window, door, and weather barrier installs active across upper floors ✔️ Tower crane dismantled On track and on mission for a Spring 2026 delivery. Today, we reflect on the life of Samone Melson, a dear colleague, mentor, and friend, who tragically passed away on this day in 2021. While we miss him dearly, his legacy continues through the Samone Melson Scholarship Fund established in 2021 by Marker Construction in partnership with Builders Exchange of Central Ohio This annual scholarship honors Samone’s lifelong dedication to the construction industry and his passion for mentoring the next generation. Pool season is calling… ☀️ As the days get warmer, we’re reminiscing about one of our local summer destinations: Tremont Pool in Upper Arlington, OH. From diving boards to climbing walls, floating crossings to shady hangouts, this community hub was built for fun. We teamed up with the City of Upper Arlington to bring their vision to life—with a pool deck that’s all buff-washed beauty and a colonial-inspired bathhouse that ties perfectly into the city’s classic charm. 🌊 Big fun. 🏗️ Thoughtful design. 🎯 Delivered on time. Another Marker project that’s still making waves. 😎

Supporting International Paper’s Vision for Growth 📈 In 2015, International Paper undertook a major expansion of their Kenton, Ohio manufacturing facility to meet rising product demand. We were proud to support this effort through a fast-tracked project that: ▪️ Added over 750,000 SF in less than 8 months ▪️ Integrated $2M+ in value-engineering ideas to optimize cost and performance ▪️ Used recycled materials to support sustainability goals ▪️ Completed construction while operations stayed fully active The result was an award-winning facility that continues to support IP’s long-term success.
