What does every expecting mom need to know? Rhian Valentine asked this question after a life-threatening battle with preeclampsia during her first pregnancy. What began as a routine experience quickly turned into a medical emergency that forced her to deliver 11 weeks early. In this emotional interview, Rhian shares the warning signs she missed, how she learned to advocate for herself, and how low dose aspirin completely changed the outcome of her second pregnancy. Medicaid is a lifeline for millions of moms and babies—but that lifeline is at risk. Our Interim Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Amanda Williams was recently interviewed by Fierce Healthcare on the impact of these potential cuts. "Many hospitals and clinics—especially those in rural and low-income communities—rely heavily on Medicaid reimbursements to sustain labor and delivery services.
