AI-Powered Litigation. Exceptional Outcomes.

About us

LexText is the AI-native litigation workbench built for high-stakes matters. Our platform helps top litigators draft, analyze, and refine litigation documents and leverage AI across the full litigation workflow with greater precision and consistency. At the core of LexText is our segmented drafting system, which guides lawyers through each section of a document and surfaces additional claims, defenses, and legal bases so nothing falls through the cracks. This delivers higher-quality work product, strengthens legal arguments, and ensures consistency across teams and matters. Complementing our drafting engine is a litigator-tuned chatbox for summarizing records, reviewing drafts, analyzing arguments, conducting focused legal research, and supporting the full litigation workflow in a secure environment. Built by veteran litigators and AI innovators, with early investors including former Chief Legal Officers of OpenAI, Oracle, Uber, Twitter, SoFi, and Dropbox, LexText meets the security expectations of enterprise clients. We are SOC 2–certified, and our technology never trains on client data, preserving confidentiality and attorney–client privilege. LexText helps litigation teams deliver stronger work product, reduce risk, avoid write-downs, and spend more time on strategy instead of templates or administrative work. • The next generation of litigators will train on LexText. Stanford Law School has licensed LexText for its students, faculty, and staff. "We are excited to add LexText to the innovative AI resources available to the Stanford Law community." -- Beth Williams, Associate Dean of the Robert Crown Law Library and Senior Lecturer in Law, Stanford Law School We built LexText for one reason: AI should make lawyers think harder, not less. That means staying grounded in primary sources, stress-testing arguments, and building rigorous habits that win cases. • Discerning GCs will set the standard for responsible AI adoption in legal work. We’re grateful to UC Berkeley Law Executive Education’s GC University for featuring our CEO and Co-Founder, Jobe Danganan, as a guest contributor. Jobe is a former GC and litigator. We’re building LexText around what sophisticated clients want as AI enters legal work: higher-quality drafts, fewer misses, and a more defensible process. We’re fortunate to be supported by investors who have served as General Counsel at OpenAI, Oracle, Uber, Twitter, SoFi, and Dropbox, among others. Our take: discerning GCs will increasingly shape how AI is adopted by outside counsel. Firms that meet that standard will earn trust and win more business.

🧠 Get to know a little more about one of GC University’s expert contributors, Jobe Danganan, Co-founder and CEO at LexText AI -- with our 3 Questions segment! ➡️ What is one productivity tool you can’t live without? For everyday work, I use an LLM for first drafts and summaries. For anything legal, I rely on LexText AI, which our team built to help litigators cover every legal base without getting bogged down in templates. ➡️ What is one book, television show, podcast, or film that you enjoyed in the last year and would recommend to others? Since becoming an entrepreneur, I’ve been hooked on Y Combinator’s founder videos, especially Lightcone with Garry Tan and Office Hours with Dalton Caldwell and Michael Seibel. They’re short, direct, and surprisingly grounding when you’re building something from scratch. ➡️ If you could go back to college today, what would you study? I majored in Social Studies at Harvard, which sometimes gets a laugh because people think I spent four years learning about tundras and trade winds. It’s actually an honors major that mixes economics, history, government, and sociology, and you have to apply to get in and write a thesis. I’d probably do it again, but this time I’d take more history on authoritarianism and social movements.

  • We were glad to take part in the discussion at Legal Innovators New York on “Litigation in the Age of AI.” Our CEO, Jobe Danganan, joined KM and litigation leaders to talk about how GenAI can support quality, efficiency, and the evolving role of litigators. Thank you to Legal Innovators New York for hosting a thoughtful and energizing conversation.

Who knew a legal AI conference could be this fun? Still energized from joining an incredible panel on “Litigation in the Age of AI” with some of the smartest KM and innovation leaders in the industry. Huge shoutout to: 🎤 Kate Machan (Gibson Dunn) 🎤 Sara Miro (Sullivan & Cromwell LLP) 🎤 Scott Kaiser (Mayer Brown) —all of whom practiced litigation— and 🎤 Matthew Beekhuizen (Greenberg Traurig, LLP) 🎤 Moderated by Alon Shwartz (Trellis) One theme kept coming up again and again: 💡 Litigators understand the pain points better than anyone, and they’re becoming the strongest champions of AI inside firms. AI isn’t replacing litigators. It’s helping them be their best, most effective, and most efficient selves. When litigators are equipped with the right GenAI tools, they level up faster, deliver stronger work, and drive innovation from within. That’s exactly the mission we’re building at LexText AI: Empower litigators → elevate quality → accelerate careers. Huge thanks to Legal Innovators New York for creating such an energizing space for this conversation. Excited for what’s ahead! #LegalTech #KnowledgeManagement #LitigationInnovation #GenAI #LawFirms #LegalAI #LexText

  • The doomsday story goes like this: AI will replace lawyers and create a “lost generation” of associates who never learn the trade. We think the opposite. AI isn’t erasing junior litigators. It’s leveling them up faster than ever. At LexText, we built GenAI to force engagement with facts, elements, and counterarguments, so associates actually learn the craft while producing strategy-ready drafts from Day 1. The “lost generation” is a myth. The next generation is arriving earlier. Stronger. Sharper. Ready to carry cases sooner. 👉 Read our latest blog: https://lnkd.in/ghCBucQk #LegalTech #GenAI #Litigation #LawFirms #KnowledgeManagement

  • 🚨 When Goldman Sachs’ CEO said AI can draft 95% of an IPO prospectus in minutes, Wall Street took notice. Is litigation drafting next? In law, speed alone isn’t enough. With LexText, litigators don’t just draft faster. They: ⚖️ Confirm elements and controlling cases ⚖️ Surface counterarguments before opposing counsel ⚖️ Run coverage checks that double as a hallucination guard ⚖️ Assemble filings in firm style, securely The ROI is clear: ✅ Stronger filings, fewer write-downs ✅ More matters, less burnout ✅ Clients who see quality and efficiency 👉 Full blog in the first comment ↓ AI raises the floor by making the baseline draft more reliable. That frees litigators to raise the ceiling and focus on the arguments that win. Where do you lose the most time in drafting: complaints/answers, motions, discovery, or something else? #LegalTech #Litigation #AIforLaw

  • 💥 AI or Goodbye. That’s what Fortune 100 General Counsel are telling law firms. If you’re not using AI to deliver faster, smarter, more cost-effective work—they’ll find a firm that is. 📣 New blog: "AI or Goodbye: What GCs Expect from Law Firms Today" 👉 https://lnkd.in/dvWDku4n The message from GCs is clear: • “Are you using AI?” • “What for?” • “Which vendors?” • “Why is it better?” Some are even recommending tools like LexText to their firms. Firms that can’t answer with clarity? Risk being passed over. Here’s what clients expect now: ✅ AI for routine drafting & legal research ✅ Value > billable hours ✅ Specialized tools (not DIY) ✅ Human oversight and quality control Why leading firms are turning to LexText: • Drafts complaints & answers, discovery requests and responses, MTDs, AI legal research, deep case analysis, & more • Trained on your firm’s style & jurisdiction • Built for litigators, not generic chat • SOC 2 Type II certified • Backed by former GCs of Oracle, Uber, SoFi, Twitter & Dropbox 📅 Book a 30-minute demo → https://lnkd.in/gAiS-cYD 📖 Or read the blog → https://lnkd.in/dDqwFiRm #LegalTech #BigLaw #KnowledgeManagement #GeneralCounsel #Litigation #AIinLaw #LegalInnovation #LexText
