At Klover, our work is deeply personal. We intentionally build teams that include individuals with lived experience, people who don’t just understand the challenges our clients are addressing, but who have faced them firsthand. This perspective shapes how we approach complex, real-world problems across biotech and healthcare. We’re proud to share that our colleague Emma Schlamm will be speaking at the FDA this week at the EL-PFDD meeting on infertility and IVF, hosted by the Alliance for Fertility Preservation this Thursday, March 26. Emma is a powerful advocate for cancer patients and those navigating infertility, informed by her own journey. EL-PFDD meetings play a critical role in ensuring that patient experiences, priorities, and unmet needs directly inform drug development and regulatory decision-making. Too often, infertility is framed as a side effect—but for many, it is a life-altering reality that impacts identity, life plans, and long-term quality of life. Patients, caregivers, and advocates are encouraged to participate. Virtual registration is open, and public comments can be submitted in advance: https://lnkd.in/gnKdrpyi Because better treatments—and better communication—start with listening.

PreludeDx was recently featured in CURE, showcasing findings from the AidaBreast™ study. Key takeaways: ✅ A Decision Score provides prognostic discrimination for 10-year locoregional recurrence, with rising score associated with higher recurrence risk after breast-conserving surgery. ✅A Radiation Resistance Index adds predictive utility by identifying subsets with differential radiation responsiveness beyond clinicopathologic factors. As breast cancer care continues to shift toward more personalized approaches, tools like AidaBreast™ are designed to support patients and clinicians in making more informed treatment decisions. Cancer survivors push for legislation to protect patients from hair loss in Rhode Island. NBC News interviewed Amara B. to learn more about her cancer journey and why keeping her hair was crucial. She was able to keep her hair through scalp cooling, an FDA approved treatment that can reduce, and even prevent chemotherapy-related hair loss. "When you have cancer, you know, everything gets stripped away. I had to do fertility preservation, and I have no breasts," Brown said. "But one thing I got to choose was to keep my hair.” ft: Paxman Scalp Cooling

For decades, drug developers have struggled to safely target CB2, a receptor linked to fibrosis and inflammation. Using AI-designed antibodies and high-throughput functional screening, researchers from Abalone Bio and Mount Sinai created antibodies that activate CB2 and reduce scar formation in human liver tissue. Could this be a new path for fibrosis therapies and a sign that AI-driven antibody discovery may unlock some of biology’s hardest targets? Gurdane Singh Bhutani, co-founder & Managing Partner of MBX Capital shared insights with BioSpace on what’s driving renewed venture capital momentum in neuroscience and central nervous system (CNS) innovation in 2026. "The neuro/CNS drug development space is primed for additional capital infusions due to the considerable advances in recent years of nuanced biomarkers, including plasma-based indicators and cerebrospinal fluid, as well as imaging agents, said Gurdane Bhutani, managing parter at New York-based MBX Capital. These capabilities have allowed developers to segment patient populations more thoroughly, potentially leading to better results." A bipartisan bill moving through the Maryland General Assembly would require insurers to cover scalp cooling, a treatment that helps cancer patients keep their hair during chemotherapy. Cancer survivors and advocates testified before the House Health Committee yesterday, arguing the procedure helps patients maintain dignity while undergoing treatment.
