When I worked in higher education, vendor conferences were never just about the sessions for me. Yes, I wanted to learn. Yes, I wanted the roadmap updates. But what I really loved was the access. The one-on-one conversations with the people who actually build, test, and iterate on the product. There is something powerful about sitting across from a product specialist or engineer and asking: • Why was this designed this way? • What problem were you solving? • Here is how we are actually trying to use it. Does that align? Those conversations gave me clarity I could never get from documentation alone.
