It was such a pleasure to welcome Abbas Manjee, Co-founder and Chief Academic Officer of Kiddom to my class on #Edtech #Entrepreneurship at NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development last night. Abbas gave the students a master class on the US K-12 education system and what it takes to build a company that is deeply focused on helping teachers do what they do best -- build connections in the classroom and yes teach! We talked about state adoption cycles, the impact of AI on education and what the future of learning might look like. For my students it was a chance to hear from and learn from a someone who has been in the trenches and built a company from scratch. It brought the challenges and opportunities of the #edtech ecosystem to life in a way that no case study really can. Thank you Abbas Manjee for being so generous with your time.
