Love seeing leaders create space for honest conversations about women’s experiences at work, especially at the intersection of leadership, career navigation, and the realities of motherhood today. Bravo, Amanda Glen Smith and Innovid! It’s no surprise this kind of initiative is coming from a Mediaocean company—Mediaocean ranks #3 on our Best Companies for the People You Work With list, and this is exactly the kind of leadership that shapes those experiences. (P.S. they're hiring: https://lnkd.in/e2JdZBqV) Excited to give The Femme Forward a listen 👇
Innovid is thrilled to launch "The Femme Forward" podcast, hosted by our very own Amanda Glen Smith. Hear candid conversations with female trailblazers in advertising and tech about leadership, career navigation, and the realities of womanhood and motherhood in the workplace. Check out our first three episodes, and stay tuned for more! A huge thanks to Rachelle Schuimer, Katie (Risch) McAdams, Claire Middleton, Stephanie Watson, and Julieta Goldman for joining us. Imani Desrameaux, U.S. Head of People at Beggars Group, says the strongest cover letters do three things: 1. Show a clear connection to the company’s mission, values, or work: "It tells me the candidate has taken five minutes to understand what we do." 2. Communicate alignment: "Why this company? Why this role? Why now? I want to see intentionality rather than a copy-and-paste message sent to 50 employers." 3. Are concise and human: "A few direct sentences about who you are, what you bring, and why this role interests you is far more compelling than a polished, generic page of corporate language." With more than 15 years of HR leadership experience, Desrameaux has seen countless applications. Keep reading below for more of her tips. https://lnkd.in/exAacdbx

In 2026, the average age of a new hire is 42, the same age many women begin experiencing hormonal shifts related to perimenopause. Yet most workplaces aren’t prepared, and almost 60% of women say they lack the information to support their changing bodies. Taneia Surles, MPH spoke with senior care entrepreneur Michelle Rankine, Ph.D. about how age and women’s health intersect with workplace culture—and how women can advocate for their needs at work. For our Fail Forward series, employees at our partner companies are reflecting on a “low” moment that changed their career for the better. Here, Watkins Wellness' Polly Edwards, MA opens up about one of the defining turning points in her career—when a layoff led her to her dream company. She says, "I felt more welcomed, empowered, and effective 60 days into my new role than I ever did at my last company, but that failure prepared me and propelled me into my position at Watkins Wellness—where I was truly meant to be!" Plus, she shares a fun fact: Watkins Wellness has a 94% retention rate and an average tenure of 12 years 👀 Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/eHCdaHJB

We love seeing all of the fun and unique ways companies have celebrated International Women's Day. Even more, we love seeing how these celebrations translate into real, everyday support for women at work. At Mediaocean this employee experience shows it best: "I have found Mediaocean to be a company that invests in its people. I feel I have been listened to and encouraged to work towards my career goals, even when doing so leads to transitioning across departments. There is both formal and informal opportunity for mentorship on the company, which as a young woman in a new industry really helped me when I started at the company a few years ago." Bravo, Mediaocean! Explore their open jobs here: https://lnkd.in/e2JdZBqV
Mediaocean's Shanghai office celebrated International Women’s Day with a tufting and glass-firing workshop, bringing the team together through creativity and collaboration. Check out these beautiful creations from the day. ✨ #TeamMediaocean #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2026
