At our June workshop, IITNT brings together two masterful photographers to share their craft, their passion, and the technique behind extraordinary images. Whether you're a curious beginner or a seasoned shutterbug, this hands-on session promises to expand how you see both the world around you and the universe above. Rajiv Roy: An Award-Winning Wildlife & Bird Photographer Rajiv has spent years in the field capturing the fleeting grace of birds in flight and the raw drama of wildlife in their natural habitats. His award-winning images demand equal parts patience, ecological knowledge, and technical mastery. In this session, Rajiv will walk through gear selection, field craft, techniques for identifying & capturing fast-moving subjects, and the ethics of responsible wildlife photography — insights that apply whether you're shooting in the Texas Hill Country or on a African safari. Srini Chakravarthi: Deep Sky Imager & Astrophotography Enthusiast Srini turns long nights into stunning portraits of nebulae, star clusters, and galaxies invisible to the naked eye — and the quiet reward of endless nights under the stars, where patience and precision converge into something breathtaking. He will demystify how amateur astronomers capture deep sky objects from suburban backyards, and walk through the hands-on craft of long exposures, image stacking, and noise reduction that transforms raw data into images that stop you cold! What an incredible afternoon at Pitch Perfect May 2026! Entrepreneurs, mentors, professionals, and community members came together at Collin College, Frisco, for an engaging afternoon of startup innovation, learning, and networking. We’re excited to feature Ravi Parekh presenting at the upcoming Pitch Perfect by IITEAN for Mental Health Initiative for South Asians (MHISA) The Problem: Suicide is the leading cause of death among South Asians ages 15–24, yet only 8.6% seek mental health services due to stigma, cultural barriers, and lack of accessible support. The Solution: MHISA is a national nonprofit advancing culturally responsive mental health education, research, and community resources through 200+ student volunteers across five university chapters.
