  • In 2025, New Mexico used satellite data to independently measure industrial activity it didn't control, compare performance across a state line, and build a policy argument from it. The question of whether orbital monitoring belongs in regulatory frameworks is settled. The live question is which technology holds up — across permafrost corridors, seismic zones, and roadless terrain where the world's most strategically important minerals happen to be. "Beyond the Image: What Daily Repeat Reveals at a Copper Mine" is a four-part series on what ICEYE US Ground Track Repeat revealed at an active copper mine in Chile's Atacama Desert. Post 1 identified the visibility gaps no ground system fully closes. Post 2 demonstrated what daily-repeat SAR does about them. In Post 3, which we publish next week, we'll discuss what the demonstration implies beyond a desert mine - reaching beyond to a 211 proposed corridor in Arctic Alaska. Get caught up on the series before the next update: https://lnkd.in/g6NfGHxg

Join us for an CSDA program webinar on Wed., June 17, 2026, to learn how to use the Satellite Data Explorer (SDX) to search, access, and task commercial Earth Observation data available through NASA's Commercial Satellite Data Acquisition (CSDA) program. During this webinar event, users will learn how to use the SDX to streamline their data workflow. A live demonstration will focus on the key features and functionalities of the tool from searching and filtering capabilities (e.g., by area-of-interest, product type, vendor) to visualizing query results through interactive maps and quick-look browse imagery. Webinar participants will also learn how to use the new Data Acquisition Request System (DARS) to submit and track commercial data tasking requests for future acquisitions. Effective vessel traffic intelligence over wide-area maritime chokepoints demands both spatial coverage and resolution. ICEYE's Scan and Spot Fine SAR image pair over the Malacca Strait demonstrates exactly that. → Scan captures a 100 km × 100 km scene delivering full traffic density across one of the world's busiest shipping lanes → Spot Fine captures a 5 km x 5 km scene with the resolution needed for individual vessel classification Two modes. One coherent intelligence picture.

  • Proud to share that for the first time we have been named to the 2026 NatSec100 — Silicon Valley Defense Group's annual ranking of the top 100 venture- and PE-backed companies delivering warfighting capabilities to U.S. national security. We're honored to be recognized alongside so many exceptional companies that are building and delivering real capability in this critical moment for the defense innovation ecosystem. The NatSec100 uses a momentum-based methodology grounded in government contracting data, capital formation, and operational traction — a framework that reflects exactly what we're focused on: sustained delivery, not just innovation. The valley of death is narrowing. Recognition like this reflects not just where ICEYE US stands, but where the broader defense innovation ecosystem is heading: from incubation to institutionalized adoption. Thank you to Silicon Valley Defense Group and J.P. Morgan for putting together a report that provides an honest, data-driven pulse check on where the ecosystem stands. • GEOINT 2026 recap — two milestones in our partnership with the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO): 1️⃣ ISP Certification: We have successfully met the rigorous cybersecurity requirements to become an Industrial Standard Provider. This follows an intensive, year-long initiative to harden our cloud environment, ensuring that our data handling meets the stringent integrity and security standards required for the most critical missions. 2️⃣ New SCE Contract: ICEYE US has been selected to contribute to the NRO's Strategic Commercial Enhancements (SCE) program. This contract focuses on "multi-phenomenology"—integrating diverse commercial data types to provide a more comprehensive and timely global picture. By combining our world-leading SAR constellation with ISP-certified infrastructure, ICEYE US provides the U.S. Government and its allies with a secure, all-weather "source of truth." A huge thank you to our world-class engineering team for their relentless focus on encryption and infrastructure security to make this possible. • Most satellites take pictures. ICEYE US Ground Track Repeat builds a record. When you return to the exact same orbital path, same viewing geometry, every single day, you stop comparing apples to oranges. You start measuring Tuesday against Wednesday. Over an eight-day window in February 2026, ICEYE US worked with AllSource Analysis to task our GTR constellation over Mantoverde copper mine in Chile's Atacama Desert. What came back revealed: → Soil removal in the open pit, measured in 48-hour increments → Individual excavators and dump trucks resolved and identified by type → Simultaneous ore deposition and spent ore removal on the heap leach pad — both processes, from orbit, at the same time → Vehicle routing and deposition patterns on the spent ore dump A single SAR image answers: what is there? A daily GTR time series answers: what is changing, at what rate, and is it anomalous? Different categories of information. Different categories of decisions. Post 2 of our Beyond the Image series is live. 🔗https://lnkd.in/ddXrcN9z Coming up: Post 3 — From Copper Mine to Critical Infrastructure

The 2026 United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) GEOINT Symposium brought together 4,000+ intelligence, defense, and geospatial professionals in Aurora, Colorado this week — and it was a meaningful few days for the ICEYE US team. Just ahead of the symposium, we welcomed Keith J. Masback to the ICEYE US Board of Directors. Keith served as President and CEO of USGIF for over a decade — there may be no better venue than GEOINT to mark that addition to our leadership team. On the main stage, USGIF Chairman Robert Cardillo and CEO Ronda Schrenk featured the power of ICEYE US Ground Track Repeat Capabilities for detecting minute surface changes in their opening mission-impact vignettes by highlighting our monitoring of Iranian nuclear sites following Operation Rising Lion. Alongside the team, USGIF also welcomed two of our fastest rising leaders Robert Becker and Amanda Beatty via the industry shaping "Golden Ticket" program. And finally, the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) announced a new contract award to ICEYE US under its Strategic Commercial Enhancements Commercial Solutions Opening, expanding our NRO relationship into radio frequency geo-location capabilities and highlighting the culmination of months of work towards ISP certification. As USGIF CEO Ronda Schrenk put it from the main stage: the GEOINT community is at an inflection point — one forcing the enterprise to move faster and think differently than at any prior moment in its history. For ICEYE US, the week reflected exactly that. The community is moving with urgency, and so are we. Proud of the team, and grateful to be part of this mission. Thank you USGIF for another banner year! Links to the stories in comments. #GEOINT2026 #SAR #CommercialGEOINT #NRO #ICEYE
