Sustainability in action: Celebrating Earth Month 🌎 Last week, our US Horizontal Talent and Digital teams closed out Earth Month by rolling up their sleeves and picking up the park near our headquarters in St. Louis Park, MN! But that wasn’t all. At Horizontal, we spent the entire month celebrating sustainability through: 🌱 Tiny Climate Acts: Our team logged 55 individual acts as part of a month-long initiative hosted by GreenPlaces and Cnaught. Every Tiny Climate Act logged contributed to a carbon offset project, helping fund verified carbon credits and supporting a healthier planet. ♻️ Tech recycling: We partnered with OceanTech to responsibly recycle technology and keep e-waste out of landfills. 🥗 Earth Day Lunch n Learn: We gathered for a sustainable lunch from Chipotle with a collaborative virtual and in-person session focused on sustainability in and out of the workplace. The event featured educational videos and a discussion on environmental impact, corporate responsibility and how everyday actions, both personal and professional, contribute to larger ESG goals. 🍃 Sustainable living tips: Throughout the month, our Sustainability Committee shared resources and tips to help employees make eco-friendly choices year-round.
