Swinging into summer! Incoming interns from Kennesaw State, Georgia Tech, and UGA got to know each other at Top Golf before starting their internships with Holder. In a few short weeks, we'll welcome 185+ interns from 57 schools across the country! 

The modernization of Cedar Street Building C at The University of Georgia’s Science and Ag Hill won an Excellence in Sustainable Rehabilitation award from the Georgia Trust Preservation. This project exemplifies how thoughtful engineering can bring new life to historic structures. From energy-efficient HVAC and chilled beam systems to innovative water use reduction and advanced lab infrastructure, our team delivered solutions that balance high-performance research needs with long-term sustainability, while respecting the historic architecture. Our Dallas office rolled up their sleeves during Volunteer Week to help clean up Addison Park!     From picking up debris to landscaping touches, the team made a visible difference—and had fun doing it. We’re proud to help keep our local spaces clean and inviting for everyone to enjoy. 

We were proud to once again partner with the Fruit Tree Planting Foundation to contribute to something truly special at Spaces of Opportunity in Phoenix. Together, we planted over 50 fruit and nut trees—a growing orchard that symbolizes our commitment to the community and future generations. These trees will provide fresh produce, free of charge, to local residents. From teaching local students about tree care and pruning to ensuring the neighborhood has access to fresh fruit, this is a testament to the power of collaboration.  Special thanks to Holder Construction, the Fruit Tree Planting Foundation and #TeamAligned for making this day possible. 🌱 Aligning with our community. Associate Spotlight: Emigdio Diaz, Carpenter    "My interest in the construction industry began after I took a carpentry class in middle school. I love that every day is different.”  

If all goes as planned, construction of the $1.3B Hollywood Burbank Replacement Terminal should be complete in 2026. The new 355,000-sq-ft, 14-gate facility will replace the existing terminal originally built in the 1930s. The "icon concept" for the design is a deliberate nod to old Hollywood and the sustainability features target a LEED Gold certification.
