We combined A.I. and real interviews with real people! Here are all the tools we used: But first: I’d love to connect with other A.I. creatives! If you’d like to connect, drop a comment below! We created this film for the Runway AI Film Festival 2025. From the very beginning, we said we wanted to create something truly special that stands out. I hope we achieved that with this film. 📸 Step 1 First, we used Magnific AI to generate the initial interview frames. In terms of quality, Magnific is simply the best photo A.I. out there. We used it to generate the aliens in super-realistic detail. Step 2 Then we took one of these initial frames and used OpenAI ChatGPT to place the alien in entirely new scenes for each shot. ChatGPT saved us a lot of time—otherwise, we probably would have had to train a LoRA first. Step 3 We animated the interviews using Hedra It’s honestly incredible how well it works—even with completely side-profile shots, or in this case, aliens. Step 4 For all the B-roll scenes featuring the aliens, we used the following A.I. tools: Runway, Google Veo 2, krea.ai , Freepik , Kling Elements, Black Forest Labs Flux, @weavyai We’re incredibly proud of the final result.
