Check out this great video of the AIA Austin award winning Isidore + Nicosi, located inside San Antonio’s Pullman Market.   Glumac’s Lighting Studio collaborated closely with the design team to create distinct atmospheres for each venue. In Isidore, small aperture adjustable downlights tuck into the ceiling to create a warm, inviting ambiance while concealed accent lighting in the casework and ceilings gently highlights natural wood finishes and the existing brick structure. In Nicosi, high‑contrast, dramatic lighting paired with dark finishes focuses attention on the food and presentation, delivering a bold, theatrical dining experience.   Congratulations again to the entire project team for thoughtful design and meticulous execution! https://lnkd.in/duBz4S7n

AI compute is reshaping data center design — and liquid cooling is now core to that evolution. New high‑power servers (think NVIDIA Blackwell GB200 and NVL72) push rack and facility loads into hybrid air + liquid environments. Liquid options — direct‑to‑chip and immersion — unlock much higher heat‑rejection efficiency and better heat‑reuse potential, but they also demand evolved cooling architectures, controls, and integration strategies that support both liquid‑ and air‑cooled IT. Our team, along with the Tetra Tech High Performance Buildings Group, coauthored white paper, “Taking the Heat Out of AI: Sustainable Solutions for Liquid‑Cooled AI Data Centers,” a white paper that walks through practical design approaches, decarbonization opportunities, and how to plan for efficient heat reuse. Key themes: • Hybrid IT readiness: design for mixed air/liquid racks today. • Heat‑reuse as value: capture waste heat to advance sustainability goals. • System evolution, not revolution: liquid cooling integrates with existing water strategies but needs new system controls and redundancy thinking. • Renewables & low‑carbon tech: match increased demand with cleaner supply and efficiency gains. Check it out and let us know your thoughts!
