GLG CEO Gemma Postlethwaite and Chief Commercial Officer Mary Burke celebrated the opening of our new San Francisco office with a ribbon cutting last week. 📍🌉 Located in the heart of tech innovation, our space in FiDi puts our team steps away from key clients and experts across industries. We're excited to be on the ground to meet growing demand from our longtime partners on the West Coast – helping them solve complex, rapidly changing challenges. Thank you to all the GLGers who are helping us build our physical presence in SF, and to all who have welcomed us to town so far! 👉 Read more about our new hub here: https://lnkd.in/edKSeJhs

Our daily conversations with GLG clients and experts are too dynamic to be scripted. ⚡To help GLGers think fast and communicate on the fly, we hosted a workshop at our New York HQ led by Jana Bernard, an actor and comedian with credits including Saturday Night Live, Poker Face, and Girls5eva. Nearly 100 GLGers participated in the day of fast-paced learning, which explored how improv-based communication tools can enhance professional communication. Our teams practiced the core tenets of improv – including the "Yes, and" mindset – to build confidence, improve active listening, and sharpen quick thinking. A big thank you to Jana and her Improv Your Communications team for providing us with that creative spark!

As conflict in the Middle East continues to send vast shocks throughout global markets and supply chains, GLG is connecting decision makers with top experts on the region and impacted industries. With the world’s attention fixed on the Strait of Hormuz, we’re hosting roundtables with military and freight experts who bring deep insight into the logistical lynchpin. In the past few days, our clients have heard from Retired U.S. Rear Admiral Mike Studeman, who discussed maritime risks and prospects for the U.S. or an allied coalition seeking to reopen the Strait, as well as Neel Jones Shah, former CCO at Flexport, about how air freight is responding to gridlock at sea. We’ve slated more events covering petroleum-based markets and industries, including gas and fertilizer, every day this week. If you and your team are facing challenges or questions about the rapidly evolving situation, don’t hesitate to reach out.

AI-Moderated Calls offer a new way to conduct qualitative research at scale. Clients can now run dozens of expert interviews at a time, seamlessly synthesizing audio recordings and transcripts to surface the insights that matter most. And our experts see the benefits, too. Beyond the flexibility of completing calls on their own schedules, experts highlight the AI Moderator’s natural, conversational tone and its nuanced probing, which emulates a researcher – digging into the project’s most relevant details while keeping every conversation focused. ✨ Interested in trying it out? At a distance, the “SaaS-pocalypse” might look like a panic. But the market is responding to legitimate risks, says GLG expert Satvinder Singh, former CEO of LSEG's Data & Analytics business, and there is a way forward for investors who can conceptualise where value is moving. It was an absolute pleasure to host Satvinder for a Roundtable discussion in London with GLG clients last month to discuss the future of tech and information services as intelligence becomes a commodity in the AI era. During the eye-opening conversation, Satvinder offered a clear overview of what’s driving market volatility, as well as a useful rubric for identifying winners, losers, and models that will go extinct in our new reality. Many thanks to Satvinder and all the clients who attended for the fascinating discussion. We are looking forward to exploring this topic and other key trends further with our financials services clients.

High-quality input leads to high-impact output. For GLG expert Andrew McLean, placing strategic human judgment “at the top of the pyramid” is what transforms AI from a simple tool into a competitive advantage. An adviser to the world’s largest advertisers for over 25 years, including as Founder and CEO of Inventus Media, Andrew shared how clear, human-led direction is the key to unlocking AI results that truly move the needle. "When we guide AI with intention," Andrew said, "it becomes an invaluable asset for the future." To meet with Andrew – or other leaders implementing AI in creative fields – reach out to your GLG rep.

As decision makers grapple with profound political, military, and economic uncertainty facing the Middle East, our teams are working quickly to connect clients with the expert insight needed to make sense of new risks in the region and the waves that will reach far beyond it. To start the week, we hosted a conversation with Norman Roule, former National Intelligence Manager for Iran at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, who spoke to GLG clients about risks to oil infrastructure, downstream supply chain implications, and the dynamic variables that could shape Iran’s political future. As the situation evolves rapidly, we’re lining up more events with top experts on the region, U.S. defense policy, global energy markets, and more, including leaders with experience at the National Security Council, NATO, and S&P Global Platts. Connect with your GLG representative to learn more or request access to experts in the areas that matter most to you. They’re ready to answer your questions in real time.

The biggest mistake organizations make when implementing agentic AI? “Layering agentic AI on top of existing workflows without changing how decisions are actually made,” says GLG expert Brian Newman, former Director of Global Network and Technology at Verizon. To unlock the transformative potential of agentic AI, businesses need to know their processes inside out – and be ready to reinvent them, to both enable AI agents and empower the people supervising them. 👇 Learn more with GLG’s latest report – a tactical playbook for agentic AI implementation, built with the insights of 110 experts in the space. It was an honor to host more than 50 clients at our New York HQ to engage with Ambassador John Bolton, former U.S. National Security Advisor and Ambassador to the UN. In a wide-ranging discussion moderated by GLG’s Global Head of Content & Events Andrew Gordon, Ambassador Bolton shared his perspective on the shifting alliances and security risks defining today’s global environment, from South America to Asia. At GLG, we believe that the right expertise makes the difference between reacting to change and anticipating it. We remain committed to bringing our clients face to face with the minds and voices closest to the world’s most critical flashpoints, so they can approach uncertainty with confidence.

When you’re deploying AI agents into a system, success depends on operational readiness. “Agentic AI magnifies inefficiencies unless you clean the pipes first,” says GLG expert Dafydd Moore. That means deeply understanding processes, recognizing what can and should be transformed, and organizing and securing your data. It also means enabling your teams to unlock the tech’s transformative value. GLG’s latest report – a tactical playbook for agentic AI implementation built with the insights of 110 experts in the space – found that 75% of business leaders responsible for agentic AI believe that their workforces lack the skills required to effectively leverage AI agents in their work. That’s a central barrier to progress – as well as an opportunity for firms to distinguish themselves with a thoughtful approach to workforce enablement. 📍 To hone your implementation strategy, download our agentic AI playbook: https://ter.li/a6dsxi
