Everyone says they listen to customers, but I think there’s a difference between collecting feedback and actually letting the market shape how you build. That’s what I was thinking about when I saw Nerdio’s recent G2 results. We earned 27 #1 rankings, 67 badges, and appeared across 116 reports. We were ranked #1 across essentially every major DaaS category, #1 across many of the major VDI categories, and received a 100% satisfaction score in the VDI Momentum Grid. For the first time, we also appeared in Europe, EMEA, and Asia Pacific regional reports, including a #1 debut in the Europe Regional Grid for Cloud Infrastructure Automation. The numbers are exciting, but what I care about most is what they indicate about the way we operate. We talk a lot internally about being “outside-in.” That means we try to start with where the market is going and what customers are actually trying to accomplish, rather than starting with what we happen to want to build. A customer may ask for one specific feature, but the job is to understand the problem underneath the request. Sometimes the right answer is exactly what they asked for. Other times, the better answer is something different that solves the workflow more completely. That kind of understanding only comes from staying close to customers, watching how they use the product, listening to where they struggle, and being willing to let those observations change the roadmap. So yes, the rankings are a proud moment for our team. But the more meaningful part is that thousands of IT professionals and MSPs are telling us, in a very public way, that the product is helping them do their work better. That’s the outcome we’re always trying to build toward.
