Grand Sport is back.   Today we’re revealing the 2027 Corvette Grand Sport and Grand Sport X—two new mid-engine Corvettes that carry one of the most storied names in American motorsport into a new era, both powered by the next-generation LS6 6.7L V8.   Historically the Corvette for drivers who want race-car spirit every day, the new Grand Sport family pairs heritage-rich design with the most advanced Corvette technologies we’ve ever offered. Together, Stingray and the Grand Sport family are expected to represent the vast majority of Corvette sales.   The Grand Sport delivers 535 hp and 520 lb-ft of torque with classic, naturally aspirated V8 character, while the Grand Sport X adds eAWD technology derived from the ZR1X for a combined 721 hp.   The LS6 is the most powerful standard Corvette engine ever: a 6.7L (409 cu in) V8 built at GM’s Flint Engine Operations—the same city that produced the first Corvette V8 in 1955. It doesn’t just power the Grand Sport family; it launches GM’s next generation of V8s and sets the stage for what comes next across our lineup. #IWorkForChevy https://lnkd.in/d7s7X7qM

Behind every General Motors vehicle is a team that goes above and beyond for our customers. That’s what happens every day at our Lansing Delta Township (LDT) plant. Our LDT team builds 1,100 award-winning SUVs each day—one Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, or Buick Enclave every minute. The results speak for themselves. Traverse achieved its highest sales ever last year, Acadia was named the Best Three-Row Midsize SUV for Families by U.S. News & World Report, and Enclave was ranked the top upper midsize SUV in the 2026 J.D. Power U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study. To everyone across our global team who pours creativity, craftsmanship, and care into every product we build: thank you. Your dedication is why our vehicles are recognized—and why our customers choose GM.

  • Our Senior Vice President of Global Manufacturing, Michael Trevorrow, met up with the team in Flint, MI – the same place where his GM career began – to get some hands-on experience with today’s technology. We wouldn’t be able to make amazing products people love without the incredible commitment of team members like Sean, Jason, Sherman, Donovan and Kurt, so thank you for sharing what you do every day. If you’re interested in a career at GM, you can find our current openings here: https://lnkd.in/eAN_yuYz #Manufacturing #AutoJobs #Hiring

  • David Piper turned his passion for working on cars into a high-value career when he enrolled in GM’s Automotive Service Education Program (ASEP)—a program he now helps define the curriculum for.   This two-year track offers a unique path to a lifelong career, blending classroom education with paid dealer internships to help students master the skills needed for today’s advanced vehicles.    Learn more about ASEP and David’s journey: https://lnkd.in/g9yt3gA6

Customers want a modern, certified used vehicle marketplace like CarBravo Shifts in a post COVID world — from the surge in online shopping to rising customer expectations, technology advancements, inventory tightness and ongoing affordability pressures — all point to a clear takeaway: today’s buyers want a modern, flexible, certified used-vehicle solution that fits both their lifestyle and their budget. Today, General Motors is taking a major step to elevate our certified used-vehicle experience. We’re unifying the Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) programs in the U.S. under one modern platform — CarBravo— giving customers more confidence and more choices and giving our dealers a single, scalable engine for growth. What’s new: - More choice, one platform: A digital-first experience with significantly expanded inventories including access to GM and non-GM makes and models — delivered on a platform built for how customers shop today: online, in store, or both. - Stronger coverage: A 12-month/12,000-mile limited warranty on eligible vehicles; for older, higher-mileage models, we offer powertrain protection. - OEM-backed confidence: All CarBravo certified used vehicles, no matter what make or model, undergo a thorough inspection and reconditioning process to meet GM’s quality expectations and certification; and all come with ongoing support beyond the sale including comprehensive roadside assistance, and access to GM’s nationwide service network. Whether it’s maintenance, repairs or questions along the way, expert help is always available. For customers, it means more value, choice, and confidence in one place - and fewer unknowns when they’re making a big purchase. For dealers, it means a single, strong certified used‑vehicle engine bringing new-to-GM shoppers into their store. This is a win-win for all. Welcome to CarBravo. https://lnkd.in/gCTyajD6

Take a look at GM Energy in action at home. In this video, Jon McNeill — a longtime EV and tech leader and a member of General Motors’ Board of Directors — gets a GM Energy Home System installed at his house. Jon has spent his career helping to scale some of the most innovative companies in transportation and technology. When someone with his experience chooses to trust GM Energy to power and protect his home, it’s a powerful validation of the solutions our teams are bringing to market. Our home energy system is designed to help customers keep the lights on during outages, better manage their energy use, and prepare for a future where their vehicle and home can work together to create a more resilient, efficient ecosystem. In Jon’s words: “I can’t believe I waited this long. I can’t believe this is the best product I ever owned.”  #GMEnergy #IWorkforGM

  • When you buy a Chevrolet Bolt, you’re not just buying an amazing vehicle. You’re buying a work of art. Literally. Inside the glovebox of every 2027 Bolt is a postcard designed by Kansas City-based muralist Marianne Cascone. It features artwork inspired by her mural at Fairfax Assembly – the plant where Bolts are built – as well as signatures from plant leadership. Our commitment to quality continues to show up where it matters most, in our customers’ satisfaction. Today JD Power recognized General Motors among the industry’s leaders in their 2026 U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study. GM had a strong performance with four of our models receiving the top award for dependability in their category, an additional eight seating on the second or third place in their category and for the second year in a row, Buick received the “Overall Mass Market Nameplate” award. These results reflect the quality-first mindset embedded across our plants, engineering teams, suppliers, and every function that touches the customer’s experience. With this momentum, we remain dedicated to exceeding expectations and driving forward to deliver the best products for every customer, every day. https://lnkd.in/e8hKnPTK

Back in 1964 and 1973, Chevy airlifted an Impala onto Castle Rock. We went back for a third time with a 2026 Silverado ZR2 and country artist Brooke Lee, singing the classic "See the USA in your Chevrolet" from the tailgate 400 feet above the Utah desert. It’s a real truck, a real helicopter, a real artist — all done for real. Kicking off the celebration of America's 250th birthday, Chevy style! https://lnkd.in/gQCncWac
