This National Police Week, the Federal Protective Service joins law enforcement across the nation to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service. Earlier today, U.S. Department of Homeland Security Federal Protective Service hosted its annual Wreath Laying Ceremony in Washington, DC, to honor eight of our own who gave their lives protecting others. Their legacy reminds us daily of the risks our officers face and the importance of our mission. We honor them, their families, and colleagues who carry on. Gone, but never forgotten.
