  • The Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is a key step in the Special Agent Selection System (SASS) that ensures you are ready for the rigor of the job. Candidates are evaluated across four events — pull-ups, a 300-meter sprint, push-ups, and a 1.5-mile run — designed to measure strength, endurance, and overall fitness. Preparing for the PFT takes a lot more than simply showing up on test day. It’s about building consistency over time, training in different environments, getting comfortable working through heat, cold, or rain, and developing the kind of discipline and resilience that carries over into the role itself. Strong candidates prepare to exceed the set standards, not just meet them. Train to build the endurance and confidence needed to perform at your best. Set yourself apart.
