Since certifying, workers in certified factories have used Community Development Funds to build a new soccer field, support healthcare for all employees, and more. Fair Trade USA and partners have officially created $100 million in community impact for factory workers. As we mark the anniversary of the tragic factory collapse of Rana Plaza, we are reminded of the life-changing importance of strong safety and ethical factory standards.
