By May 31, 2026, enterprises with related‑party relationships must complete their Related Party Transaction Reporting Forms as part of their annual Corporate Income Tax (CIT) return. 📣 The deadline for small business R&E amendments is less than six months away: July 4, 2026. 📣 If your company has average gross receipts under $31M, you may be sitting on unclaimed cash from 2022-2024 returns—money that was capitalized under the old Section 174 amortization rules but can now be expensed immediately and refunded. Here's what makes this window different: the amended return process is simplified. No Form 3115 required for small businesses. Just an election statement. For larger companies, the calculation is different. You'll need to evaluate whether to take the full 2025 catch-up deduction or spread unamortized costs over 2025-2026 via accounting method change. The point isn't just compliance—it's using regulatory shifts to improve your cash position before year-end planning kicks in. What's your team's approach to the OBBB changes?
