We’re proud to support a new nationwide initiative with Walgreens and Workflow Services designed to help close the colorectal cancer screening gap and help detect colorectal cancer earlier, when it is most treatable. Through an enhanced Walgreens website experience, eligible patients can learn about their screening options and, if appropriate, request the Cologuard® test through the Workflow Services platform, creating a simple path from awareness to action. This effort is expected to reach more than 2 million eligible patients nationwide. 🔗 http://spr.ly/6041B6j77z

Aaron Flaker is the epitome of the phrase “Win the Day.” A former baseball player, coach, husband, and father, he was thriving as life moved at full speed. Until a colorectal cancer diagnosis caused everything to stop in an instant: “It just hit me like a ton of bricks.” After a positive Cologuard® test, a follow-up colonoscopy confirmed a stage III diagnosis. It was a new kind of competition, one that required resilience and a strong team of cheerleaders backing him. Today, he can say that he successfully beat colon cancer. Cancer impacts all of us, including those within our own four walls. As a long-time member of the multi-cancer early detection team, Allison Barry was one of the individuals who helped bring the Cancerguard® test to life. But she never thought she’d be one of the patients whose life was changed as a result. Allison was diagnosed with stage I ovarian cancer, a cancer that often develops silently and does not currently have a recommended screening. Thanks to the Cancerguard test, it was caught early, and her care team was able to remove the tumor surgically. Today, she is cancer-free. Thank you, Allison, for sharing your story and being a tireless advocate of early cancer detection. Your story is a powerful reminder to everyone at Exact Sciences of why we show up every day and keep pushing forward in the fight against cancer. Results may vary.
