Confidence isn't taught in a classroom. Sometimes it's built in a sanctuary, when a cow you've never met decides — without hesitation — that you are worth leaning into. Last week, our team partnered with Proud Indian NGO to take 40+ underprivileged children to Prani Pet Sanctuary, Bengaluru — not for a "charity outing," but to give children a space to simply be kids. We watched children 🐄 Rest their hand on a cow's back — and feel it slowly lean in, nuzzling against them, as if to say you're safe here too. 🦜 Walk into an aviary and have parrots land on their heads like they owned the place 🐍 Hold a ball python — nervous for a second, fearless the next 🐢 Sit quietly by a turtle pond, completely at peace 🐭 Cup a tiny rat in their palms with more gentleness than most adults could manage 🐐 Feed goats, laugh loudly, run freely — just children, being children 💡 CSR done right is about creating opportunities. We just opened the gate and said: come in, this is yours too. What made the day truly special was not just the joy we could bring to the kids, but also watching all of our Ethosaurs(volunteers) embrace the experience with so much curiosity, excitement, warmth, and childlike wonder.
