Another great training week here in Langen is coming to an end. This week we hosted the 𝗘𝗥𝗪𝗘𝗞𝗔 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 for representatives from our global distribution network. Together with our trainers Borris and Ciske, participants took a deep dive into the ERWEKA physical testing portfolio, combining theoretical knowledge with hands‑on sessions directly on our instruments. The training placed special focus on our tablet hardness testers MultiCheck 6 and EasyCheck, the TBH II, and the ZT 730 disintegration tester. Participants also became familiar with our MCNET hardness testing software and the ERWEKA Export Manager, enabling fast and reliable generation of PDF and XML reports. We greatly appreciated the strong engagement, insightful technical discussions, and knowledge sharing that made these sessions so valuable. 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘁 – 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝟲 The MultiCheck 6 is more than a tablet hardness tester. It is a fully automated testing system in which every tablet passes through 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 to ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable results. The process begins with intelligent sample separation. A separation drum reliably singulates the tablets and feeds them individually into the system, adapting easily to different tablet shapes. A sensor then detects each tablet and prevents double feeding, ensuring smooth and controlled sample handling. Each tablet is then precisely weighed, with out‑of‑spec samples automatically rejected. During transport, an adjustable alignment bar ensures every tablet is positioned correctly for the following measurements. Next, tablet thickness is measured using a high‑precision linear potentiometer. Finally, the system performs fully automated multi‑parameter testing of width, length, diameter, and hardness. This is made possible by the flexible Oblong Navigator®, which adapts seamlessly to different tablet shapes and measurement methods. Because every tablet is unique — your settings should be too.
