As part of the Healthy Wave project, each implementing city establishes a Local Action Group (LAG) - a local support network that brings together stakeholders, organizations, and city officials who share an interest in improving school meal systems. These LAG play a crucial role in: ✔️ Analyzing local needs and challenges ✔️ Identifying innovative solutions ✔️ Designing a roadmap for change ✔️ Engaging the whole community, from schools to municipal departments By working together, LAGs ensure that the cities can develop school meal programs that are nutritious, sustainable, and inclusive, tailored to local needs. Interdisciplinarity, Sustainability & AI

I recently joined “NextGen AI Ambassadors: AI Frontier”, an Erasmus+ youth exchange held in Berlin, Germany. The project brought together participants from Germany, Türkiye, Lithuania, and Italy to explore artificial intelligence, AI ethics, sustainability, and intercultural dialogue through shared learning and collaboration. This was my first youth exchange, and it was an inspiring mix of ideas and connection, from engaging discussions on AI and innovation to unforgettable intercultural nights filled with music, dance, and amazing food. Our visit to the Bundestag was a personal highlight: I had studied its architecture and history in school, but standing inside it was something else. Truly a full circle moment for me! Huge thanks to Erasmus Plus, the European Union, Jugendbotschafter e. V. as our host, and the partner organisations Asociacija Verdenes, 22. Yüzyıl Dernegi and APS Youth Union For Intercultural Relations - E.T.S for making such opportunities possible. It’s wonderful to see Europe invest in young people, collaboration, and responsible AI.

How can digital tools make fashion education more sustainable and inclusive?🌱 Over the past three years, Kolding School of Design, together with the University of Ljubljana and the Willem de Kooning Academy Rotterdam, explored this question through the Me You Us project — an EU-funded collaboration supported by Erasmus Plus, CLO3D, G-Star, NTT DATA, and Mila.Vert. 🧵 Me You Us invited students, educators, and industry partners to experiment with digital design, virtual prototyping, and emerging technologies like AI, AR, VR, and XR — all while reflecting on sustainability, inclusion, and diversity in fashion. One of the project’s key outcomes is an open-source educational library featuring nine modules that offer practical ways to integrate digital tools into teaching and learning. These resources are free and adaptable for anyone working in fashion and textile education. Key learnings from the project: • Build digital skills step by step.  • Use digital tools to reduce waste and test ideas virtually.  • Co-create with diverse users to design more inclusively.  • Approach AI critically and responsibly.  • Strengthen collaboration across education, industry, and policy. ✨ By sharing its results openly, Me You Us hopes to inspire others to rethink fashion education — making it both digitally forward and deeply human. 🔗Read full article by Head of the Fashion Programme at Kolding School of Design Christel Arnevikhttps://lnkd.in/ds7354gP Project photo: Larisa Gregor, Ema Cestnik, Urban Dereani and Ida Križnič, UL NTF, 2023. #design #fashioneducation #sustainability #inclusion #digital #ErasmusPlus

Today we travel to the heart of Ireland 🇮🇪 to welcome Youth Work Ireland Midlands, a regional youth service dedicated to empowering young people through community-based learning and development. We spoke with their Service Manager, Tracey Moore, and here's what we discovered 👇 👋 𝑾𝒉𝒐 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖? We're a large community-based youth work organisation providing services across Counties Westmeath, Offaly and Roscommon. Our mission is to empower young people through process and experiential learning — promoting their social, physical, emotional and spiritual development through non-formal education programmes. 💡 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒐 𝒋𝒐𝒊𝒏 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈? We wanted to strengthen the visibility and recognition of learning for everyone, while validating youth work practice. After experimenting with #OpenBadges during and after Covid, we joined Cities of Learning as a strategic space to recognise young people's and adult learners' achievements, and today we're leading the way in Ireland, offering a nationally recognised, accredited youth work programme supported by badges. 🌍 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒅𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈? The ease of use, design shareability and gamified nature of the system. It's a tangible way to validate skills and achievements, while promoting learning opportunities on a local and national scale. 🤝 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏? We aim to expand collaboration under four key areas: 1️⃣ Young People 2️⃣ Volunteers 3️⃣ Europe 4️⃣ Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for adult learners We're building early pathways in each area, starting locally and sharing outcomes nationally. 🚀 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕'𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒂𝒅𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒏𝒆𝒘𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒔? Get on board with another organisation and participate in a learning space that's relevant to you. It's an innovative and valuable way to gain new skills, knowledge, and recognition for your efforts. 🌐 Discover their work: 🔗 Youth Work Ireland Midlands Region of Learning 👉 https://lnkd.in/dKSrFduP 🔗 Youth Work Ireland Midlands Website 👉 https://lnkd.in/dkrWjq9K Welcome to the Cities of Learning Network, Youth Work Ireland Midlands! 💫 We're excited to collaborate and keep shaping spaces where learning is visible, shared, and celebrated. 🤝 Co-funded by the Erasmus Plus Programme of the European Union 🌍 Supported by Cities of Learning #CitiesofLearning #ErasmusPlus #NetworkSpotlight #MeetOurMembers #YouthWorkIrelandMidlands #Ireland #YouthWork #CommunityLearning #DigitalLearning #Recognition

👩🔬 Petra Elblová, doktorandka z Matematicko-fyzikální fakulty na Charles University a FZU - Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, se s námi ve svém novém článku podělila o inspirativní zkušenost z programu Erasmus+.

I had the privilege of participating in a Europass Teacher Academy course through the Erasmus Plus mobility program that was focused on AI and Inclusion in the classroom in beautiful Florence, Italy. This week-long experience allowed me to connect with educators from across Europe and explore innovative platforms like Brisk Teaching, Magic, and Gemini (just to name a few!) that can enhance teaching and learning for diverse student populations. AI is undoubtedly reshaping education, enabling personalized learning experiences. I am looking forward to bringing back my newfound knowledge to International School of Budapest, contributing to my commitment in fostering inclusive education. #artificialintelligence #AIforteachers
