A day in the life of an Infravision pilot. From pre-flight coordination to field deployment, it’s a role that blends precision, problem-solving, and constant iteration. Different day, same mission: our crews deliver faster, safer, more affordable projects. What stands out most isn’t just the work, it’s the team. High trust, tight coordination, and a shared focus on solving real problems at scale. This is what building the future of grid construction looks like. Big thanks to Adam for taking us along. Full Steam Ahead! We're excited to announce that Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) has joined the company as a strategic original equipment manufacturer (OEM) investor. With the global industrial boiler market expected to surge over the next 10 years, industrial competitiveness starts in the boiler room — and manufacturers need industrial solutions that are reliable, repeatable, and built to integrate seamlessly into existing operations. Growing engagement from leading OEMs, like MHI, signals a clear shift toward electrified steam delivered as a standardized platform, not a one-off project, scaled through the channels that customers already trust. We're thankful for MHI's leadership in the U.S. manufacturing sector and for validating the rising demand for practical solutions that can be integrated and scaled in real operating environments. The strategic OEM investment was made as part of a broader strategic financing led by VXI Capital, with continued participation from Engine Ventures, Constellation Technology Ventures, Energy Impact Partners, and 2150. I'm super proud to share that Quilt now has over 100 signed certified partners. A year ago we were only in the Bay Area. Today, we are in 26 states and 6 provinces (32 territories) – signing a partner on average every 3.6 days (including weekends!) over the past year. The evolution from a D2C to B2B2C business model – which we made a year ago – was the most difficult pivot in the history of Quilt. We care so much about the customer experience, and about solving every problem holding back heat pump adoption, that it was truly scary to trust others to be the ones on the front lines. Our DNA deeply resisted it. At first, anyway. After the change, so many things that felt hard before all of a sudden started to feel easy. Things started to click. What I quickly learned was that so many of my naive assumptions about the HVAC contractor industry were plain wrong. Our partners care just as much about our shared customers as we do. They care deeply about their craft and workmanship. I was worried our customer happiness scores would go down after the transition. They actually went *up*. Our partners are incredible. They are essential service providers to their communities. They are engines of local business. They are crawling through attics and crawlspaces to keep families warm (and cool), lower energy bills, and help move humanity off fossil fuels. It is truly a privilege to partner with them – and I now know exactly what that word means. Our job is to make them successful. We haven't reduced our focus in the slightest on creating incredible products that delight homeowners in a million ways – in fact, this evolution has allowed us to focus *more* on that, by not diluting our attention into areas outside our core strengths. We win together with our partners – and that is when we create delighted customers that choose Quilt to keep their homes safe & comfortable, lower their energy bills, and feel pride in their choices. There is so much more ahead – but this is a real milestone and I wanted to share it. https://lnkd.in/g7-YPPVU
