Empire State Realty Trust has received the 2025 International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) WELL Health Safety Leadership award, for its prioritization of building occupant health and well-being, and the 2025 Healthy Building Catalyst award, for outstanding public promotion of health and well-being practices. ESRT achieved the WELL Health-Safety Rating across 100% of its portfolio in each year of participation since 2020.  In 2025, ESRT focused on its forward-looking, science-based and ROI-based goals, practices, and measurements for sustainability and indoor environmental quality performance. The company received Five Stars, an A rating, and the highest GRESB management score of all Americas’ Companies and 100% of ESRT’s NYC commercial portfolio was ENERGY STAR or NextGen certified. “Placing people at the heart of every decision is the hallmark of modern leadership.
