EMA Engineering & Consulting

EMA is currently providing MEP engineering services for an elementary school in BOVINA ISD, including a new 11,724 sq. ft. classroom addition, ADA compliance updates, and fire alarm and technology system upgrades. The project also includes enhancements to the stadium with improved sound systems, upgraded sports lighting, and a new scoreboard, contributing to a $12.9 million investment in the district’s future.

As we close out Women’s History Month, we’re recognizing and celebrating the #EMAzing women who make a lasting impact on our team, our projects, and industry every day.

We had a great time out on the course at the A4LE Golf Tournament!    Our team brought their A-game and took home 1st place! It was a great day of friendly competition, teamwork, and representing our firm out on the course. Looking forward to the next one!

EMA sponsored the 4th Annual Bloom Women’s Luncheon hosted by the Pflugerville Education Foundation in celebration of Women's History Month, supporting their mission to benefit students across the district. One of our team members, Michael Cork enjoyed attending and connecting with others while celebrating the #EMAzing women who make an impact in our communities. Thank you to the Pflugerville Education Foundation for hosting a great event. 

EMA is providing MEP design engineering for a new residential and program facility in South Dallas designed for Men of Nehemiah. This 49,000-square-foot facility will support recovery, education, and life-skills development for men impacted by homelessness, substance abuse, and other challenges. The project’s four stories include 60 residential beds, private and group counseling areas, vocational training and classroom spaces, a full-service kitchen, and flexible recreation areas. EMA’s MEP systems are being designed to support safe and efficient building operations to accommodate leadership development and community engagement activities. Contributing to Men of Nehemiah’s mission has made this project meaningful, and we look forward to its completion at the end of 2026. 

Our team had a great time participating in Form Follows Fitness, getting out for a run together and enjoying time with each other outside the office. Being a sponsor of this event supports the Architecture and Design Foundation, helping to inspire students and support the next generation of architects and designers through educational programs and scholarships. We’re happy to support the future leaders of the AEC industry!
