Is parenting through travel becoming too much of a performance? I just finished reading this insightful piece by Faith Hill for The Atlantic on the growing pressure Millennial parents feel to optimize everything - including family vacations. It hit close to home. As a parent and founder of eat2explore, I believe deeply in the value of exposing kids to global cultures. But I also know it doesn’t have to involve passport stamps, jet lag, and meltdown-inducing logistics. The article nails it: “Even vacation is no longer spared from the pressure to self-optimize… Caregivers need actual relaxation.” Exactly! Sometimes the most meaningful experiences happen in your kitchen - laughing over a new recipe, discovering a new flavor, or learning about a new country without leaving your home. At eat2explore, our mission has always been to make cultural exploration fun, educational, and accessible for families. And yes - our new offerings coming soon will make it even easier for all ages to enjoy micro-adventures from the comfort of home. Thank you, Faith Hill, for putting this tension into words.
