Training: I am pleased to share that I have successfully completed training on Partial Discharge (PD) Testing & Analysis for high-voltage equipment—including transformers, power cables, and GIS—using the Techimp Aquila PD testing system at Doble, Dubai. During this training, I gained hands-on experience in PD measurement techniques, sensors, data acquisition, and analysis using PD Check and PD Pro software. Key learning outcomes included identifying and classifying PD sources and sensors, simulating various discharge types (corona, surface, internal/void, and electrical noise), analyzing PRPD patterns, and interpreting PD data for insulation diagnostics. This training has strengthened my ability to diagnose insulation defects at an early stage, supporting predictive maintenance and improving the reliability of high-voltage assets. Grateful for this valuable opportunity.
