CONGRATULATIONS are in store. To say that mentoring him has been impactful to ME would be an understatement. I am in AWE of this human. I could list his accolades but that would make this post too long. Instead, I will just say congratulations to my fellow New Yorker/Brooklynite & fellow Jamaican, Neville Shakespeare on graduating this weekend from Penn State University and becoming Neville Shakespeare, J.D. Disability:IN made the most perfect match with us. 💙 #NextGenMentor

  • Today we're excited to highlight Jessica Broome, PhD, Founder and Strategic Lead at Certified DOBE, Southpaw Insights following her recent attendance at the The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. For disabled entrepreneurs looking to expand their network, access development resources, and compete for contracts with leading companies, explore how DOBE certification can support your growth: https://lnkd.in/ghDSTnP8 [VD: A women with short curly hair in a purple Southpaw Insights shirt talking with different pictures of her experience at the Tuck Business School, her presenting at conferences, and her certification fade in and out of the frame. As she speaks, captions appear on the screen.] Transcript: I’m Jessica Broome from Southpaw Insights. I had the opportunity to participate in driving profitable growth through operational excellence at the Tuck school of business at Dartmouth and it honestly shifted how I’m thinking about my business in a really practical way. a big reason I was even at Tuck in the first place is because of Disability:IN and I’m so grateful to this network since I’ve become a certified DOBE. I’ve made all kinds of connections for business and suppliers and education. This summer I’m actually gonna be speaking at the Disability:IN conference about how disabled entrepreneurs can drive innovation, which I’m super excited about. One of the biggest takeaways I got from the course was thinking about our whole ecosystem right not just our customers but also the partners and suppliers we work with. And the experience itself was great. It was so invigorating. I love being around other business owners other big thinkers. Also really grateful to Wells Fargo for funding this program. I really couldn’t have done it without their support. It’s something that I’m going to carry into every decision going forward.
