Helping entrepreneurs hand off more and lead better

About us

Hosted by *Bonnie Schutz, a business powerhouse with a proven track record of turning expertise into success, this podcast dives deep into the “why” and “how” of handing off the tasks that keep you stuck. Once dismissed as “just a secretary,” Bonnie built a multiple six-figure business that recruits top-tier admins for W2 roles and manages a team of powerhouse U.S.-based Virtual Assistants. She’s an Amazon Best-Selling Author of *Phoenix Rising and Corporate Dropouts, a PACE-certified leader, and a former Admin Awards finalist. Bonnie also credits her rise to board service in the administrative profession and decades of hands-on experience working alongside C-level executives. She’s been “life-ing” and working long enough to know what it takes to delegate, elevate, and thrive. Episodes feature Bonnie’s solo takes on real-world delegation challenges and success stories, alongside candid conversations with a dynamic lineup of guests. From her expansive network of professional service providers to former, current, and prospective clients, Bonnie invites experts to share their tips, tricks, and best practices. You’ll hear from her friends and sister members of organizations like, SecondAct Women and The Dames (with a few great dudes added to the mix, too!) as they share strategies to help you outsource (or hand off!) effectively and stay focused on what you do best. Expect real talk, some F-bombs, and plenty of laughter. Bonnie is a woman of a certain age navigating life with real brain fog—yes, sometimes forgetting words or making them up entirely—but she uses her wicked sense of humor to keep it real. She knows firsthand that with the right systems and support, you can level up both your personal life and your business. This podcast isn’t just about getting more done—it’s about living fully, working smartly, and elevating every area of your life. Be sure to follow us on YouTube as well! • Not all delegation struggles mean something is broken. Sometimes the role is too broad. Sometimes the wrong person is in the seat. And sometimes the “traditional” way of handing something off simply is not the right fit. That is why this insight from Aleasha Bahr tracks: “Creative delegation saved me when traditional delegation kept burning me.” 🎙️ Now live on the Delegate2Elevate: Get Sh!t Done Podcast https://lnkd.in/gfq4Mn6i In this episode, Bonnie sits down with Aleasha to talk about sales, founder realities, delegation frustrations, and what it looks like to think more creatively when the usual support structure is not working. Their conversation also touches on something many business owners do not think through carefully enough... delegating and outsourcing sales. From client fit to messaging, to the risks of handing off revenue-generating conversations the wrong way, this episode offers honest insight for entrepreneurs and service providers trying to grow with more intention. #Productivity #Delegation #MoneyMindset #OutsourcedSales

  • 𝓗𝓲𝓻𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓼𝓽 𝓽𝓮𝓪𝓶 𝓶𝓮𝓶𝓫𝓮𝓻? Wondering if you need a contractor, an employee… or a magic wand? 🪄 In this week’s episode of Delegate2Elevate: Get Sh!t Done, host Bonnie Schutz sits down with Kirsten Zeigler, HR consultant, certified strengths coach, and self-proclaimed rollercoaster rider of entrepreneurship, to unpack the most confusing (and critical) decisions business owners face. 𝐊𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞: ✨ The difference between hiring a contractor vs. an employee (and why it matters more than you think) ✨ How to figure out what to delegate first… without overthinking it ✨ Why “work-life balance” isn’t the goal, and what to focus on instead ✨ The emotional side of leadership no one talks about (yes, even HR feels it) This conversation blends practical guidance with those “wait… that’s exactly what I needed to hear” moments. Whether you’re a solopreneur thinking about your first hire or already leading a growing team, there’s a golden nugget (or five) waiting for you. 🎧 Listen in: https://lnkd.in/gCAVtYan #DelegationStrategy #Entrepreneur #Leadership #FounderMindset #Productivity #Hiring

  • 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐬 𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 19, 2026. Ashley Connell (CEO, Prowess Project) drops a line that every professional service provider needs taped to their monitor: “𝒯𝒶𝓁𝓀 𝒶𝒷𝓸𝓊𝓉 𝒷𝓮𝒽𝒶𝓋𝒾𝓸𝓇𝓈… 𝓃𝓸𝓉 𝒶𝒹𝒿𝓮𝒸𝓉𝒾𝓋𝓮𝓈.” Because “be proactive” and “take ownership” sound nice, but they’re not instructions. In this episode, the conversation gets practical on: ✨ Ops + systems that free up your time ✨ Decision-making frameworks your support team can actually use ✨ Delegation clarity that protects client delivery and momentum 🎥 Watch on YouTube: https://lnkd.in/gbeCRdHg (Or catch it on your favorite podcast platform.) #DelegationStrategy #Entrepreneurship #FounderMindset #Productivity #LeadershipDevelopment #Operations #BusinessSystems #ProcessImprovement #ServiceBusiness #ProfessionalServices

  • One of the most honest conversations had on the podcast recently was with Alisha Harris, founder of Original Account Strategies… and yes, she’s also a TRS- Tandem Resource Solutions, LLC client (Bonnie's company). 😊 Bonnie and Alisha talked about something that doesn’t get said out loud enough in entrepreneurship: 😁 😝 😖 Delegation is emotional. It’s not only about systems, efficiency, or scaling a business. It’s about letting go of things you once did yourself. It’s about trusting someone else with something you built. It’s about investing money when every instinct says, “I can probably do that myself.” Alisha shared something that really stuck with us: ✅ “Knowledge can’t just be learned and held. It must be used.” That applies to delegation, too. You can read every book, attend every workshop, and listen to every podcast on leadership, but until you actually let go of something and allow someone else to own it, it’s all theory. Another gem Alisha dropped: “Be a joyful giver… or don’t give it at all.” Your time. Your attention. Your energy. Your money. If you’re passing the baton on any of those (above) in your business, commit fully. Great conversation. Real conversation. And a reminder that none of us has this whole delegation thing perfectly figured out. Truth be told… most of us are figuring it out as we go. 😉 If you’re building a business and trying to stop doing everything yourself, this episode will resonate. 🎧 Episode available now on Delegate2Elevate: Get Sh!t Done. https://lnkd.in/dKK6mM3a

  • “I don’t know what I need help with… I just know I need help.” That’s exactly how Tonisha Stalnaker, MS - LHRD, 🦸♀️ described hiring her first team member when she and Bonnie talked on the latest episode of the Delegate2Elevate: Get Sh!t Done podcast. No perfectly written job description. No elaborate org chart. Just the realization that doing everything yourself eventually stops working. Her solution? 5️⃣ Start with five hours. Tonisha calls it her Golden Five-Hour Rule. Instead of waiting until you can afford a full salary or trying to design the “perfect” role, start small. Five hours a month. Test the relationship. Build trust. Learn what you actually need. It removes the fear and makes delegation realistic. In their conversation, Bonnie & Tonisha also talked about: • Building a global team across multiple time zones • Why boundaries with clients matter more than availability • The expensive lesson of a 600% bookkeeping fee increase • And why founders often spend weeks doing work that isn’t their business Delegation isn’t about doing less. It’s about doing the right things and letting others handle the rest. 🎧 Catch the conversation with Tonisha Stalnaker on the latest episode of the Delegate2Elevate: Get Sh!t Done podcast. <<LINK HERE>> #DelegationStrategy #EntrepreneurLeadership #FounderMindset #LeadershipDevelopment #BusinessBoundaries #Productivity
