What we’re seeing across merchants right now is not a lack of tools, but a growing challenge in managing transaction-level data. Data spread across providers, limited visibility, and too much time spent cleaning and reconciling instead of actually using it. That’s exactly what Mark Walick and Svante Westerberg will be unpacking in this webinar with the MRC | Merchant Risk Council. What’s really happening behind the scenes, why managing data at scale becomes so difficult, and what it takes to move from delayed reporting to real-time decisioning. This is the shift we’re focused on at DEUNA. Turning fragmented data into decisions that can be made in the moment, with the context needed to act on them. Looking forward to this conversation!

Across hospitality, airlines, and subscriptions, revenue isn’t lost in obvious ways. It’s lost in failed approvals, unnecessary friction, and decisions made too late. Athia changes that. She turns payments into a real-time decision system, fixing what usually breaks… before you even notice it. The result is simple: more bookings, more tickets, higher retention, and better control over cost and risk. This isn’t another tool.  It’s the layer that makes payments perform.

Easter isn’t just a demand spike. It’s a real stress test for payment performance. When millions of travelers book within the same window, what usually goes unnoticed starts to matter. Small shifts in issuer behavior, routing performance, or fraud signals can quietly impact revenue at scale. In this breakdown, we look at what’s coming and where airlines can actually gain an edge. Athia continuously surfaces patterns and adapts decisions in real time, so teams don’t have to chase issues across millions of transactions. From improving approval rates to optimizing routing and reducing friction at checkout, this is how payments keep up with demand. A timely perspective as peak travel approaches. 💪

Easter is one of the most intense booking windows in European aviation. Millions of travelers search and book flights within a very short time frame, creating sudden demand spikes across markets. For airlines, the real pressure often appears at checkout. Every booking triggers a complex chain of authorization, fraud checks, authentication, routing logic, and local payment methods. When demand surges, payment performance becomes critical. Small inefficiencies in the payment flow can quickly translate into lost revenue. This is why more airlines are starting to rethink payments as a performance layer, not just a processing function. At DEUNA, we help airlines optimize payment performance so infrastructure can scale when demand peaks 🤓

A customer in California books a flight to Europe while, at the same time, another customer traveling in New York tries to complete a purchase from their phone. Both are simple transactions on the surface, but they carry completely different signals. Location, behavior, issuer expectations and transaction context all shape how each payment is evaluated. When that context is not properly interpreted, good transactions are often declined not because of risk, but because of how they are executed. DEUNA is built for this reality. By analyzing these signals in real time, it allows each transaction to be executed in the way that best aligns with issuer behavior, adapting dynamically to improve approval outcomes. Because payment performance doesn’t depend on sending transactions, but on making the right decision at the moment they happen.

Fragmented data rarely shows up as an obvious problem. It shows up as missed opportunities. A trend that was identified too late. A failed payment that could not be explained. A decision that took longer than it should have. None of these seem critical on their own, but together they quietly impact performance. This is the cost of operating on disconnected systems and delayed information. Not just inefficiency, but lost revenue and slower growth. In this blog, we break down what is really happening behind fragmented data and what it takes to turn it into something you can actually act on. 💪 Read it here: https://lnkd.in/egKnmvtW

MRC | Merchant Risk Council Las Vegas comes to an end, and the direction of the industry feels sharper than ever. Conversations with merchants across markets made one thing clear. The bar for payments is rising fast, and the gap between what companies need and what their systems can actually deliver is becoming harder to ignore. That’s where real interest is building. At DEUNA, we had the opportunity to show how we’re approaching that problem, and why more teams are looking for a different way to operate, one that brings control, speed, and performance into the core of payments. Being close to these conversations is what allows us to stay ahead of where the industry is going, not just react to it. See you next year!

Events like MRC | Merchant Risk Council Las Vegas bring together some of the most important voices shaping the future of payments. Over the past few days, we met with merchants, partners, and industry leaders to discuss the structural challenges redefining the space: fragmented payment stacks, rising authorization complexity, and the growing need for intelligence at the transaction level. The DEUNA team hosted a series of private sessions where we walked through how modern payment infrastructure is evolving and demonstrated how our platform helps merchants orchestrate complexity, improve performance, and turn payments into a strategic advantage. As commerce continues to scale globally, payments can no longer operate as a fragmented backend system. They require a unified layer of orchestration and intelligence. This is exactly the problem DEUNA was built to solve. Thank you to everyone who joined us during the sessions and conversations throughout the week.

By the end of the year, nearly 30% of checkout volume could be initiated by autonomous AI agents booking travel, purchasing goods, and completing transactions on behalf of users. Yet most payment infrastructure was designed to authenticate humans, not intelligent agents acting for them. As agentic commerce grows, systems must move beyond distinguishing between legitimate AI agents and malicious bots. They must evaluate both the agent and the intent behind each interaction. When they don’t, merchants lose revenue, increase fraud exposure, and miss legitimate transactions. This gap is quickly becoming a new invisible tax on margin. At MRC | Merchant Risk Council, DEUNA’s Mark Walick joined leaders from Capital One and Vouched to discuss how payment infrastructure must evolve, including the role of emerging protocols like ACP and UCP in enabling secure agentic commerce.

MRC | Merchant Risk Council Vegas is where the most important conversations in payments tend to happen. Enterprise payment stacks are becoming increasingly complex; more processors, more payment methods, more regions, more risk layers. The challenge today is no longer just connecting systems, but making that infrastructure work intelligently in real time. Our team will be in Las Vegas next week looking forward to exchanging ideas with other payment leaders and discussing what it actually takes to turn payment complexity into higher approval rates, lower costs, and real revenue impact. If you’ll be at MRC, let’s connect and talk about what’s really happening inside your payment stack. Book a meeting here: https://lnkd.in/ef_Dfhid

Everyone says they have payment orchestration. Multiple PSPs, routing rules, more connections. It looks advanced. It sounds strategic. But coordination alone does not create advantage. Keeping transactions moving is not the same as improving performance. It does not automatically lift approvals, protect margin, or reduce friction. In 2026, the real differentiator will not be how many providers you connect, but how much value you extract from your payment layer. Would you like to know more? Take a look at the carousel below.
