We were excited to welcome our Emerging Leaders from seven different countries and production sites to the DISCOVER YOUR IMPACT Retreat 2026. The official starting point of their leadership journey at Daimler Buses. 🤝 Throughout the week, participants tackled real-world leadership challenges, explored our strategic priorities, and gained valuable feedback to foster both personal and professional growth. 🌟 Our program prepares talents for engagement-driven, entrepreneurial leadership roles. Through expert insights, workshops, and sessions on key topics, our Emerging Leaders were empowered to make confident decisions about stepping into leadership. Extreme weather conditions of -10 to -15° Celsius in Sweden: The Mercedes-Benz eCitaro gives icy temperatures the cold shoulder! ❄️ Winter in the far north is long, snowy and very cold. In Östersund, Sweden, Vy Buss AB put the #eCitaro through its paces to overcome extreme weather conditions. Testing was not only important to reassure regular service, where each eCitaro has to cover 84,000 kilometres a year, but also in the planning and construction of the necessary charging infrastructure. This was the first time that Daimler Buses Sverige, with the help of Daimler Buses Solutions GmbH, had been responsible for delivering and installing the complete #eSystem: a total of 25 charging points are now available, including 13 charging stations and two additional mobile chargers, supporting VY Buss in its transition to #eMobility.🔋 More insights into frosty eMobility 👉 Link in the comments! #DaimlerBuses

Hat trick for Daimler Buses: the Mercedes-Benz eCitaro fuel cell is “Electric Fuel Cell Bus Champion 2026”.🏆🥇 The award is based on an international comparison test by Omnibusspiegel where, for the first time, fuel‑cell buses competed directly against one another. Among five vehicles, the eCitaro fuel cell emerged as the clear winner. The award was presented at Bus2Bus in Berlin to Heinz Friedrich, Head of Sales & Service Germany at Daimler Buses. “This win really means a lot to us,” said Heinz Friedrich. “It shows that the Mercedes-Benz eCitaro fuel cell isn’t just cutting-edge technology. It also performs in tough, real-world conditions.” 💪 The eCitaro fuel cell combines a fully electric drivetrain with a fuel cell as range extender. This enables longer range, high reliability, and locally CO₂-free operation. 🌱 With this award, Daimler Buses continues its winning streak and underscores its leading role in the electrification of public transportation.
