Most hardware companies budget 6-9 months for firmware development alone. By the time the product ships, the market has moved. 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗚𝗲𝗻 by CraftifAI generates production-grade firmware from a single prompt. Datasheet-aware. Silicon-agnostic. Built to work across 90%+ of embedded use cases, regardless of chip vendor. What used to cost you a team, a year, and your launch window - compressed to a prompt.
About us
CraftifAI is building the AI infrastructure layer for the physical world. Through our agentic platform, CraftifAI Orbit, we enable companies to design, develop, and deploy intelligent systems across edge, IoT, and FPGA-based products - bringing AI into cameras, robots, industrial IoT, and autonomous systems. While most AI innovation has been cloud-centric, real-world systems remain fragmented, hardware-bound, and difficult to scale. We exist to bridge this gap - turning AI into reliable, scalable systems that operate in the real world. From prototype to production, CraftifAI powers the next generation of intelligent, autonomous physical systems.

Last night, we wrapped our first Physical AI mixer in SF and the room exceeded our expectations. It had engineers, researchers, founders, and investors. All building or exploring the future of physical AI. All in one place. People came to demo their products, share their research, pitch their ideas and stayed for the conversations that followed. By the end of the night, almost everyone in the room had found someone to collaborate, build, or create with. That's not something you can plan. That just happens when you put the right people together. What this told us: The physical AI community is real, it's hungry, and it's been waiting for a room like this. We're going to keep building it. More events. More builders. More open rooms for the people actually shipping the future of physical AI. This was just the beginning. Thanks to our investor Antler for opening up their cool space for the night. Nitin Sharma Gowri Shankar Nagarajan Raghav Goyal Jasnoor Gill Kudos to our colleagues at Drift (Backed by Antler) and Synthium for co-hosting alongside CraftifAI. If you missed this one, you'll want to be at the next one. Follow along - more coming soon. #PhysicalAI #Robotics #AIcommunity #Founders #DeepTech

Concluded the Demo Day at Founders, Inc. 5-week builder's sprint - 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺. The energy in the room was high++ SF's AI builders are out here working on wild, ambitious ideas - and building in Physical AI was a clear attraction. People immediately identified it as a category that's going to be a disruptor. Some of the conversations I had with founders: Short-mile rockets, Autonomous delivery bots, Water robots, Sleeptech devices, AI wearables Every single one of these teams is building something that needs accelerated embedded software development - which is exactly what we do at CraftifAI. Our agentic platform, FirmGen & PipeGen, is the infrastructure these hardware builders need to move faster. Continuing the energy! #CraftifAI #FoundersInc #Canopy #PhysicalAI #CraftifAIOrbit

Hosting our first mixer in the SF office for the Physical AI community. At CraftifAI, we've been deep in the trenches building PipeGen - automating perception and Edge AI pipelines for robotics teams. And one thing kept being obvious: the people building the physical world of AI deserve a room to think bigger together So here it is. If you're building robots, AMRs, drones, or autonomous vehicles or just obsessed with the space - this night is for you. No panels. No fluff. Just builders, demos, and real conversations. We're also keeping a few spots open for live demos. If you're building something worth showing, come show it. 📅 May 25 · 7 PM 📍 435 Brannan St, San Francisco 🎟 Link in comments Tag someone who should be in the room. 👇

Indian agentic AI startups have already raised over $60M in 2026 - a strong signal that the ecosystem is rapidly moving from experimentation to deployment at scale. As AI evolves from copilots to autonomous systems capable of executing workflows and making decisions, one of the most exciting shifts is happening beyond the cloud in the physical world. At Ankur Capital, we have closely tracked this transition across manufacturing, robotics, industrial IoT, autonomous systems, and edge infrastructure. That conviction led us to back CraftifAI. We believe embedded AI development is at an inflection point. Today, building software for edge devices and industrial systems remains fragmented, time-intensive, and dependent on highly specialized engineering workflows. CraftifAI is building Orbit, an agentic AI platform that automates embedded software and Edge AI development - from architecture design and firmware generation to testing, optimization, validation, and deployment across edge hardware environments. What makes this especially compelling is the breadth of real-world applications it unlocks. In manufacturing environments, Edge AI systems powered through platforms like CraftifAI can enable: - Real-time defect detection - Predictive maintenance - Worker safety monitoring - Assembly-line optimization - Automated quality inspection all directly on device, without relying on cloud latency. In robotics and autonomous systems, the platform can support: - Autonomous navigation - Dynamic process optimization - Real-time visual inspection - Smart surveillance and safety systems - Faster deployment of AI-enabled robots and AMRs across logistics, industrial automation, and smart infrastructure use cases. What is particularly exciting is that these are not isolated AI demos; they represent the infrastructure layer enabling intelligence to operate reliably inside real-world machines, cameras, factories, and devices. As AI increasingly moves to the edge, we believe entirely new software and tooling layers will emerge to power this transition - especially for embedded systems, IoT devices, robotics, and AI-native industrial infrastructure. India is uniquely positioned for this moment: - Deep engineering talent - Large-scale operational environments - Strong embedded systems expertise - And founders building globally relevant products from day one The next generation of enduring AI companies may not just build models. They will build the infrastructure that enables intelligence to operate in the real world (Sharing the full article in the comments below). #AgenticAI #ArtificialIntelligence #DeepTech #IndianStartups #VentureCapital #Innovation

Excited to see our portfolio company CraftifAI featured in The Economic Times as one of India’s emerging agentic AI players. As lead times, fragmented workflows, and talent availability become growing bottlenecks in the firmware development process for OEMs, startups like CraftifAI are demonstrating how practical, workflow-driven AI can improve operational efficiency at scale. We believe this shift from AI experimentation to deployment will define the next generation of enterprise AI companies, and we’re proud to back this category early.
