Last week was the graduation of the Council on Foundations Career Pathways program. I’m still basking in the glow of the experience. Over the past year I’ve gotten to know this exceptional group of people through conversations on leading through uncertainty, calling in community to accelerate impact, and interrogating how our experiences impact our purpose-driven approaches to building lasting partnerships. My leadership in action project focused on the importance of gathering and how convening among funders and partners magnifies what money alone can’t. I’m excited to share more about what I learned (both from this project and more broadly through the experience) in the coming weeks. In the meantime, extending my gratitude to Daniela Rodriguez Ranf, Elizabeth Mendoza and Jeryl R. for facilitating a transformative experience. Thank you for the The Ralph M. Parsons Foundation for hosting us and to Dr. Kadar Lewis for facilatung our leadership in action presentation. Finally, thank you to my fellow cohort members, you’ve broadened my worldview and resparked the hope & joy I feel for this work.
