📣 CoSTAR National Lab are #hiring three roles – a User Experience Designer, an AI Research Software Engineer, and a Research Fellow! User Experience Designer, CoSTAR National Lab We are seeking an experienced and creative User Experience Designer to join our CoSTAR National Lab Applied Research and Innovation team – someone who can help the team bring early ideas to life quickly and keep user needs a the centre of all that we do and build.   You will be part of a creative, inclusive and dynamic environment, working with the research teams across all the partners of the National Lab as well as with industry collaborators, working at locations in Surrey (Royal Holloway campus) and also at our flagship CoSTAR lab at Pinewood Studios. In this hands-on position, you will be comfortable working collaboratively using agile methods as part of a multidisciplinary innovation team focused on developing a range of pilots, prototypes and software capabilities. You will get the chance to work with a range of Creative Technologists, software engineers, research producers, as well as to collaborate with external companies.     👉 Find out more: https://lnkd.in/enFUTYc4 AI Research Software Engineer, CoSTAR National Lab We are seeking an AI Research Software Engineer to take a significant role in planning, coordinating and implementing research programmes and, where appropriate, commercial and consultancy activities. Based in Surrey, they will take lead responsibility for a small research project or identified parts of a large project.      The ideal candidate must have a Master's degree in computer science, electronic engineering, or a related subject. A strong background in software development and experience is also essential.    👉 Find out more: https://lnkd.in/eQCkTqiq     Research Fellow, CoSTAR National Lab In this exciting position working for CoSTAR National Lab and based at University of Surrey, we’re looking for someone to undertake a range of research activities within a specified research area, assuming responsibility for specific areas of projects and making use of new research techniques and methods. You will use initiative and creativity to identify areas for research and develop new research methods.  The ideal candidate holds a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline (although individuals who have almost completed a doctoral degree may be appointed).
