The Norwegian Ministry of Energy has approved our plans for development and operation of the previously produced fields Albuskjell, Vest Ekofisk and Tommeliten Gamma in the Greater Ekofisk Area. The PPF project will bring new gas to market, with first production expected in late 2028 and total recoverable resources estimated at 90–120 million barrels of oil equivalent. This strengthens long-term gas supplies to Europe and supports efficient use of existing infrastructure. “These approvals are important milestones for the PPF project and our long-term commitment in the Greater Ekofisk Area,” said Steinar Våge, ConocoPhillips' President for Europe and North Africa.
