What a week of celebration across Commonwealth Hotels! 🎉❤️ In honor of our 40th anniversary, hotels across our portfolio spent the week celebrating where it all starts: our incredible people. From team lunches and sweet treats to games, giveaways, recognition and plenty of fun, each property put its own spin on the festivities and found special ways to celebrate their teams every day. On Wednesday, our hotels also came together for a special portfolio-wide call with Commonwealth Hotels President Jennifer Porter, bringing our teams together to celebrate this incredible milestone and reflect on 40 years of hospitality. As we celebrate 40 years of Commonwealth Hotels, we’re looking back at the partnerships and milestones that helped shape our journey. In 2014, Commonwealth expanded into Maine with the opening of Hyatt Place Portland – Old Port, beginning what would become a valued and lasting partnership with East Brown Cow. Located in the heart of Portland’s historic Old Port, the 130-room hotel was East Brown Cow’s first ground-up development and an exciting new chapter for both of our organizations. More than a decade later, we’re incredibly grateful for a partnership built on shared values, trust, collaboration, and a commitment to creating exceptional hospitality experiences. Our work together has continued to grow beyond that first hotel, including the expansion of The Docent’s Collection and new opportunities to bring thoughtful hospitality to Portland.
