Last Tuesday, Clarity hosted high school students from Thornwood for a Lumity “One Day Challenge” event where they had to solve a task on the spot, preparing a short presentation and slide deck to support their solution. Teams of students worked with mentors from Clarity to come up with ideas and presented their work to a panel of judges. The panel awarded Clarity swag and monetary prizes to the 3 teams that participated! Lumity also had their annual benefit last week, highlighting and celebrating their successes over the past year with featured speakers who impact Lumity’s mission. One of Clarity's founders, Rodney Zech, spoke about his role as chair of the board and the finalization of the training center in Maywood, which is due to have its grand opening soon. Guests participated in an evening of networking, great food, and raised $100,000 over the course of the night! Clarity loves working with Lumity and supporting their mission of providing STEM opportunities to teens and young adults in underserved communities.
