  • Celebrating wildlife conservation in our own backyard!   Last week City of Loveland Parks & Recreation’s Open Lands & Trails team partnered with the Colorado Avian Research and Rehabilitation Institute (CARRI) to band American kestrel chicks in a nest box at a Loveland natural area.   Banding helps researchers track population trends, migration, and habitat needs—supporting the long‑term health of North America’s smallest falcon.   We’re proud to help support the incredible wildlife that calls Loveland home.
