  • This is what it looks like when you ask a question about your EW data…and get answers back in seconds. No specialized analyst needed. No hours spent digging through disconnected databases. Just ask IBIS™ a query in plain English and get actionable responses and visualizations back exponentially faster than traditional methods. This is the future of defense: turning data paralysis into instant insights when warfighters and operators don’t have time to waste. To see IBIS™ action, contact us or book a demo on certuscore.com

  • 📣📣 Certus Core has been selected to support the US Navy's Fourth Fleet, operating at the forefront of maritime security in the Caribbean. This is one of the most dynamic maritime environments in the world, where data is generated across distributed sensors, autonomous systems, and external sources. The challenge isn't collection. It's the gap between collection and the COP. Our flagship platform, IBIS™ (Information Bridging and Integration System), is designed to sit above existing systems, integrating with what's already in place while creating a governed layer for discovery and decision-making. This work allows us to bring together robotics telemetry, sensor data, and external data into a single, queryable environment, enabling analysts and operators to move from navigating systems to asking questions and getting evidence-backed answers in return -- **exactly** what we were built for. We are all honored to support the mission, and grateful to our partners SMX and WhiteSpark Labs for making this win possible... and an extra special thank you to Chris Robinson for his support and steadfast belief in our technology. Let's get to it! ⚓ #DefenseAI #MaritimeSecurity #DataFusion #NavyFourthFleet #CertusCore

  • Jake Dyal, our CEO and Co-founder, has lived the problems we’re solving with Certus Core. With over 25 years of defense and intelligence experience, Jake began his career by leading specialized intelligence teams and developing data collection methodologies still used in high-stakes decision-making today. Following his distinguished military service, Jake worked at the Office of the Secretary of Defense, where his pioneering efforts in machine learning and advanced analytics solved problems that had previously resisted solution. Through direct military and government experience, Jake witnessed firsthand the monumental challenges organizations face due to disconnected data. Taking action required hours of digging and specialized analysts, cutting operators off from insights when they needed it most. This undermined decision-making in critical situations, intelligence operations, and overall national security. That's exactly what we're fixing with IBIS™, which ensures that all of your organization's data can be interacted with, questioned, and accessed by all team members. Since co-founding Certus, Jake’s in-depth understanding of the customer, the procurement landscape, and the technical requirements is exactly what gives Certus Core and IBIS™ their edge. When he’s not building the future of defense tech, you’ll find Jake on the mat (he’s a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) or with his family.

  • Meet Kate Heath, our SVP of Marketing and Communications — and one of the reasons we're confident Certus Core can cut through the noise. Kate's career started in federal consulting at IBM, supporting agencies like U.S. Department of Homeland Security and NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, before moving into defense industry strategy. She was Boeing Defense, Space & Security's first Data Analytics Strategy Lead — and in that role served as U.S. Representative and Vice Chair on a NATO Industrial Advisory Group study on data analytics. From there, leadership roles at Meta, Walmart, and The George Washington University rounded out a uniquely cross-sector perspective. At Certus Core, she builds the strategies and narratives that translate IBIS™'s technical edge into market traction -- and the relationships that open doors. When she's not here, you'll find her advising the 100+ tech startups at Embarc Collective, volunteering as an organizer at One Million Cups Tampa, or serving on the board of Nurturing Minds, Inc., supporting girls' education in Tanzania.

  • Our team loves a field trip to SOFWERX! Many thanks to the USSOCOM PM-I2E Team for inviting us to demo at their Tactical X Event 2026 (TXE-26). One of TXE-26's core focus areas is exactly the problem IBIS™ was built for: automating the fusion and analysis of multi-source intelligence, from UxS encounters to biometrics to OSINT, so operators can act faster with less cognitive load. Grateful for the opportunity to show what's possible at the edge. More to come. 💪 Jake Dyal, Christopher Knapp, Kate Heath #SOCOM #SensorFusion #MultiINT #UxS

  • Your best investment is usually the boring one. Now, we don’t think intelligence platforms that fuse sensor data and make it easy for operators to use that data are boring. But they’re less eye-catching than new drones or flashy visualization dashboards. As mission needs change and technology continues to evolve, the middle ground between these two ends of the stack — collecting data and visualizing it — starts to get messy. The connective tissue (like our platform, IBIS™), which bridges the hardware that gathers data and the dashboards that display it, becomes increasingly important to contextualize information and create a coherent plan of action. That connective tissue is what fuses, governs, and operationalizes data so it's easy to use and actually delivers insights. This infrastructure is foundational to ensuring the other ends of the stack can do their jobs successfully and support vital missions. Read more about what our SVP of Marketing, Kate Heath, calls the “unsexy middle” of defense tech. Link in comments.

Our team has spent a LOT of time in #DC (Kate even lived here for 18 years) but we never get tired of the view! What a special evening we had last night, thanks to Seed2Table. CEO Jake Dyal pitched Certus Core alongside some other exceptional startups, including SnowCrash Labs, Symphony Space, Skip Technology, and Windlift. ⭐ Fundraising is hard work (IYKYK), but Seed2Table is bringing a new model to bear that makes it truly enjoyable. The investors are highly curated, just like the startups, to ensure the people in the room are genuinely there to be as helpful as possible. We had terrific conversations, with people who not only want to write checks but also want to make intros, share lessons learned, and help strengthen our presence in the market. And BONUS - we got to visit with one of our favorite advisors, Stephanie Usry Bellistri! (Thank you for coming out to support us, Stephanie!) Huge thanks to Caleb Thornton, Ryan Amburn, Andrea Stevenson Conner, and Colleen Lozano for creating such a special environment and for welcoming Certus Core into the fold with warmth and enthusiasm. 🙌 We can't wait to see where this partnership takes us next.

  • The American Victory Ship & Museum in downtown Tampa, Florida, is one of only four operational WWII ships in the U.S. It holds both the past and future of defense: in our Autonomous Sensing Lab onboard, we host events for other defense and tech innovators and test our IBIS™ platform in an urban maritime environment. Projects with partners include building out autonomous underwater vehicles and integrating data from low-powered sensors. Learn more about the work we’re doing at sea at the link in comments. 👇 (And fun fact - our Autonomous Sensing Lab was built by fellow Embarc Collective member, AbleNook Co.)

  • 𝗪𝗲’𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗮𝗽 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. Recent events only reinforce how urgent that gap has become. The global security environment has shifted, and the defense technology market is shifting with it. Ukraine. The Middle East. Venezuela. China. Different regions. Different threat environments. All unfolding at the same time. For defense operators, the defining challenge of this moment isn’t simply conflict. It’s 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗶𝘁𝘆. Multiple theaters, multiple domains, and an unprecedented volume of sensor and platform data entering the decision environment at once. The constraint is no longer collection. It’s 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆. Across our armed forces, new sensors, autonomous systems, and platforms are generating more data than ever before. But much of the infrastructure responsible for turning that data into decisions was designed for a different era, when conflicts were more geographically contained and the volume of information was dramatically smaller. When data remains fragmented across systems, teams, and networks, the result isn’t clarity. It’s delay. And in modern operations, delay compounds quickly. Operational risk increases. Engagements last longer. Mission outcomes slow down. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗮𝗽 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀. IBIS™ (Information Bridging and Integration System) compresses the decision loop in environments where connectivity is degraded, denied, or simply overwhelmed by the volume of information being generated. The platform fuses multi-source data, preserves provenance, and surfaces answers quickly. Fragmented inputs become governed intelligence that operators can trust when decisions matter most. This isn’t theoretical. Operational teams across SOCOM, CENTCOM, the U.S. Navy, and the U.S. Air Force are already using IBIS™ in mission environments where clarity and timing shape outcomes. For investors watching the defense technology sector, the signal is increasingly clear. The opportunity is no longer just building new sensors or platforms. It’s building the 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿. That’s what we’re building at Certus Core. #DefenseTech #NationalSecurity #DataFusion #DecisionAdvantage #DefenseInnovation
