For the first time this century, a new newsroom illuminated its sign in downtown Syracuse. This is the new street entrance to Central Current's expanded offices on S. Warren St. We owe this progress to you. The community of Central New Yorkers who read our coverage, who generously donate to our work, and who take time out of their days to come out to our events have established that the future of local news is bright in Syracuse. This space is an investment in providing more of the reporting you have come to expect from us. It allows our reporters to have their own desks, to conduct interviews with privacy, and to comfortably work together as a team. It allows us to host student interns and continue growing our staff. Moving forward, we look forward to organizing newsroom events where our readers can come and visit with us in person. Thank you. Your generosity has given us the confidence to invest in a long-term home here in the heart of the city. When you are next on Warren Street, look for the hawk. We hope you will join us in seeing it as a beacon of good things to come.
