About us

The Catholic Community Foundation of Waterloo Region (CCFOWR) is unwavering in its commitment to championing social justice initiatives aligned with Catholic values, focusing on Waterloo Region's Catholic schools, parishes, Catholic organizations, and community partnerships. Our goals encompass generating and investing new revenues, fostering cooperation with diverse community entities, expertly managing funds for Catholic education stakeholders, initiating partnerships for the betterment of our community, and serving as a central influencer within the Waterloo Region Catholic community and the Diocese. CCFOWR places a high value on community, extending a "hand up" to empower marginalized and vulnerable individuals, particularly youth, with a strong dedication to inclusion, equity, and the 7 Social Teachings of the Catholic Church. We eagerly collaborate with community partners from all sectors to advance common goals, making a positive impact on our community
