We’re proud to announce that BCA and Launch Regional Partnership have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding to formalize a partnership focused on advancing regional collaboration, workforce alignment, and economic growth in North Alabama. By combining Launch’s regional leadership with BCA’s statewide advocacy, this partnership aims to accelerate strategic initiatives that benefit businesses, communities, and families across Alabama.

Introducing Ty Wunderl, one of our BCA interns for Spring 2026! A Little Rock, Arkansas native, Ty is a junior at Huntingdon College, majoring in business administration with a minor in English on the pre-law track. He most recently interned for the President of Huntingdon. He is involved on campus as President of the Order of Omega, Vice President of his fraternity, and the Business Club. He is active in his school's SGA, Pre-Law Club, and serves as a College Ambassador and Presidential Scholar. Ty is excited to gain hands-on experience at BCA while observing the House and Senate during committee meetings, public hearings, and floor debates. We’re happy to have him on board this spring and have no doubt he will make a meaningful impression.

This morning, we had the chance to hear from budget chairs Senator Greg Albritton and Representative Rex Reynolds at our Tuesday Morning Issues Briefing. The chairs emphasized that Alabama is operating from a position of strength—with a solid economy, sound budgeting processes, and healthy savings in place. Thanks to those guardrails, our state is better prepared than ever to meet the needs of its people, protect long-term stability, and respond to whatever comes next. Meet Riley Stephens, one of our Spring 2026 interns at BCA! From Homewood, Riley is a junior at Huntingdon College majoring in business administration and management with a minor in business leadership. He serves as a College Ambassador, Huntingdon E-Sports Team Captain, has held executive roles in his fraternity, and is active in the Business Club. Riley looks forward to gaining hands-on experience and deepening his understanding of Alabama’s business and political landscape. We’re grateful to have him on the team and are excited about the impact he will make this session.

When Senate Minority Leader Bobby Singleton takes the mic, you know you’re in for a treat. This morning, we had the opportunity to hear from him as he shared his straightforward approach to legislating, the lessons he learned growing up in Greensboro that shaped his commitment to public service, and the economic momentum reaching West Alabama. His message was simple: Alabama works best when we all work together. Never a dull moment, and always a perspective worth hearing. Thank you, Senator Singleton, for joining us.
