We appreciate the BranchED community and for the shared time at this year’s Spring Summit. Three days focused on strengthening educator pipelines through aligned, locally grounded connections across institutions, schools, and communities. We're excited to see what unfolds for your communities!
I had the privilege of joining Emily Jackson-Osagie, Ph.D. at the BranchED Conference, where we spent three powerful days examining innovative strategies to recruit, prepare, and retain high‑quality teachers in partnership with Southern Southern University’s School of Education. A key focus of our work was the impact these strategies can have on building a sustainable educator pipeline for Southern University Lab School University (SULS). Strengthening this pipeline is essential for ensuring our students have consistent access to excellent teachers who understand our community, culture, and vision for excellence. Grateful for the collaboration, insights, and commitment with other institutions of higher learning throughout the country. The work continues and SULS is ready to embrace innovative teacher preparation programs. #BranchEd #TeacherPipeline #SouthernUniversity #HBCUsLead #EducatorPreparation
