  • For Joshua Bunnell, a Senior Systems Analyst, the "Brady Family" is a literal term. "My family basically has worked here their entire lives," Josh shares. His father was a machine supervisor starting in the 1970s, and his mother dedicated 25 years before both retired in 2024. Josh’s own memories stretch back to 1990s "bring your kid to work" days and company cookouts. Josh officially joined Brady in August 2007, working in the warehouse while pursuing his finance degree. Over the next decade, his drive propelled him through several departments. He moved from a finance internship into Credit and Collections, and later the Pricing team. In 2019, he took a leap of faith into IT. Today, he integrates websites with SAP and enhances Salesforce. He quickly embraced the challenge of bridging business and technology: "I hadn’t worked in this area previously, but once you kind of know how things should work, then you can kind of start breaking it down and making enhancements." So, what keeps someone at the same company for nearly two decades? For Josh, it comes down to exceptional work-life balance and a highly supportive culture. He values the approachable nature of leadership, noting that managers are hands-off but deeply encouraging when it comes to implementing new ideas. He also appreciates Brady’s solid financial footing, which provides his team with true peace of mind. This flexibility and stability allow Josh to vigorously pursue his passion outside of work: traveling the globe. To date, he has explored 26 countries, with Thailand ranking as a personal favorite. Whether he’s snowmobiling in Banff or exploring Dubai, Brady’s culture gives him the freedom to step away and recharge. Ultimately, Josh’s journey proves that you don't have to change companies to build a dynamic, ever-evolving career. "I like what I do. I like the people I work with," Josh says. And when you have that, building a rewarding career just five minutes from where you grew up feels exactly right. Swipe through the photos to see Josh, his family and shots from a few of his world travels.
