Venture Capital and Private Equity Principals

Before there is a company there is a conversation — we want to be that first conversation.

About us

Our goal at BoxGroup is to invest at the earliest stage. Early stage fundraising has taken on many names— friends & family round, pre-seed, seed, etc. and we're open to all of them. We're comfortable with what early means— a lot of assumptions, more vision than traction, and raw product. At BoxGroup we believe that technology can be a catalyst for positive change and progress. We look for entrepreneurs working at the beginning of movements in existing markets, or new markets yet to be created, and with visions to create the next generation of category defining businesses.

The Next Era of Money is here. Stablecoins are faster, cheaper, better money. They settle in seconds, cost pennies to send, move globally without intermediaries, and operate around the clock. They have the power to fundamentally reshape how money moves for the entire world. You know this. We know this. But today, stablecoins don’t yet operate like money. They are fragmented across chains, issuers, and products. Moving between them is slow, expensive, and manual. Different stablecoins can even have varying values across platforms. That’s not how money should work. We started The Better Money Company to fix this, beginning with a stablecoin clearinghouse. Clearinghouses solve a fundamental coordination problem. They transform a fragmented many-to-many market into a unified network, enabling systems to scale. Our clearinghouse connects stablecoin issuers to the businesses building with stablecoins. Fintechs, neobanks, payments companies, and anybody building with better money will be able to build products knowing any clearinghouse supported stablecoin can move and be accepted at $1 every time. In a world with hundreds of stablecoins, which we believe is fast approaching, a clearinghouse is essential. We’re building it. We’ve raised $10 million, led by a16z crypto, with participation from BoxGroup, Sunflower Capital, The Fintech Fund 🚀, Art L., Michael B. Tannenbaum, Patrick McHenry, Sean Neville, Charlie Songhurst, Adi G., and other world-class investors and partners. If you want to join the clearinghouse or help build the clearing layer for the next era of money, reach out. We’re excited to hear from you. https://bettermoney.com/

Ideal candidate has spent time in banking (FIG is a bonus) or consulting but is sick of talking about doing things and want to do them. Engineers (NYC/TLV)- senior backend and applied AI engineers who can deeply understand a complicated business problem and automate it away. Our engineers don’t wait for instructions from product, they take initiative. Wholesale Brokers - we’re opening regional offices in Texas and South Florida. We've raised $100m at a $1.15b valuation from Accel, GV (Google Ventures), and existing investors to accelerate deployment of the most capable and accurate accounting agents across CAS, tax, audit, and advisory. Basis is used by 30% of the Top 25 accounting firms and dozens more across the Top 150. Today we're announcing the first accounting agent to complete a business tax workbook end-to-end. Our focus on production-grade, long-horizon agents means that 12 months from now, the work Basis handles will make even this look routine. We're looking for a few very intense people who want to build at the frontier.

We don't manually test features anymore. Excited to release “Feature Review” by Ranger! Ranger’s always-on AI QA team now works directly with your coding agent so you can go further. If you’ve been using a coding agent, you’ve probably experienced something like this. Ask agent to plan and write a new feature, agent goes off for a while, gets most of the way there, and then stops and waits for you to test it. When you test it, the feature immediately 500s due to some type error. You start the agent and wait another 10 minutes. Looks fine, but you have a few comments. You write up a long paragraph and hope the agent picks it up. Repeat this cycle 10 times in parallel, and all the sudden you’re going crazy context switching as your agent’s personal QA engineer. “Feature Review” solves that. Now, with Ranger: 1) Agent goes off for a while, and when it’s done automatically calls Ranger’s QA agents to test the feature. 2) Any error is immediately flagged back to the agent, without disrupting you. 3) When it’s done, the agent showcases its work back to you, so you can review, leave comments, and resume your agent. You may not read your code anymore, but you still have to review the feature. Would love for you to try it.

One of the coolest parts of working at a startup is getting to rebuild core systems from scratch. I recently led a rewrite of our backend data ingestion service at Falconer (linking how I did it in comments!) What started as a performance issue turned into a deeper rethink of how data ingestion should work: not as a linear pipeline, but as a DAG of dependency-aware stages. The result: • Sync times dropped from 4–6 hours to under 10 minutes • Failures became local and retryable • Each stage exposed its latency It completely changed how I think about designing data pipelines at scale. Curious how others here approach ingestion or ETL at scale — what’s worked (or broken) for you? #Backend #DistributedSystems #Engineering #Startups #DataPipelines #AI

Loyal has raised a $100M Series C from age1, Baillie Gifford, existing investors, & more. This brings Loyal's total funding to over a quarter of a billion dollars. We are building the longevity pharma, starting with dog longevity. Thanks Fast Company for the exclusive: https://lnkd.in/egRpUNSE this raise comes after we overcame the key biotechnical risks for an FDA-approved longevity drug: >> FEB '25: FDA conditional efficacy approval >> JUL '25: 1,300+ dogs enrolled in our pivotal lifespan extension trial >> DEC '25: FDA safety approval the "only" major work remaining is FDA manufacturing approval - complicated, but all ultimately controlled + solvable. this capital will fund Loyal's direct commercialization of LOY-002 & development of our drug pipeline. over 14 million senior dogs - 15% of the dogs in the USA - will be eligible for LOY-002. our product pipeline expands potentially eligible dogs to over *50* million. the demand from dog owners & veterinarians is relentless, and if you've ever loved a dog, the need is evident. I'm SO proud of my team & our progress on this very hard task. but wait... there's more! to celebrate, we are launching our very first LOYAL MERCH STORE. all profits go to Muttville senior dog rescue. check it out :) https://merch.loyal.com

Your days are constantly interrupt driven. You're blocked with a question, but the person with the answer is asleep on another continent. You have a deadline, but you're spending most of the day trapped in meetings and Slack threads. Most of the day is wasted searching, syncing, stalled out—not building or selling. Starting today, Falconer is available to solve all that. Falconer is your team's auto-updating source of truth. An autonomous workspace that keeps your knowledge and context up to date. Not another bloated collaboration tool or agent builder. Falconer is the platform that eliminates the noise. Falconer obsesses over: - Self-updating knowledge that powers accurate answers and context-hungry coding agents - Powerful, minimalist writing tools for busy people - An agent to ask questions and write docs directly in Slack Frontier models and agents come and go. What's most important is that these models and agents have your company-specific knowledge so they understand how you actually work. Our customers tell us Falconer is their source of truth. That using Falconer is like giving everyone their own senior engineer to answer questions, provide context, and keep them unblocked. We built Falconer to handle the heavy lifting for you—purpose-built to capture and maintain your valuable knowledge and context. So you can cancel the sync meetings and work on what matters most to you.

Big launch from Warp today – check out Oz, our platform for orchestrating cloud agents. Over the last year, agents have gone from novelty to something developers rely on every day. But once you try to run agents at scale, a few things become obvious: laptops don’t have the capacity, DIY orchestration workflows don’t give you visibility, and “one agent at a time” doesn’t compound. In other words, we need to get coding agents off of our machines and into the cloud, and Oz is our answer to that. However, scaling agents into the cloud isn’t as simple as you might think – businesses going all in on agents want security, tracking, auditing, and coordination. Developers want programmatic control, easy automations, and a simple way of running dozens or even hundreds of agents at once. Oz provides all of this out-of-the-box. Oz is an orchestration platform for cloud agents. It lets you run hundreds of coding agents in parallel in the cloud with orchestration, observability, and developer control built in. Oz is deeply programmable. You can launch agents from the CLI, web, API, Warp Terminal, or even your phone. Each agent runs in an isolated Docker environment, can work across multiple repos, and produces real artifacts like plans and pull requests. We provide hosting for oz agents in partnership with Docker, Inc or you can self-host. Every Oz agent is auto-tracked. You get a link, a full audit trail, and a shared view across your team—session logs, plans, PRs—all out of the box. No custom scaffolding required. And when a cloud agent gets you 80% of the way there, you continue its work locally in Warp with one click or steer it mid-run. Every company that is building software will need to deploy agents at scale. If 2025 was the year of interactive agents. 2026 will be the year of agent orchestration. Oz is how Warp makes this as easy, as powerful and as flexible as possible. We’re excited to hear what you build with it! Read the launch blog (linked in comment) to learn more → Then try it yourself at oz.warp.dev from Warp.
