Enterprise AI adoption is gaining momentum here, rising more than fivefold from 4.3% in 2023 to 23.5% in 2025. At ATxEnterprise last week, I announced the launch of the AI for Enterprise Impact Playbook, developed by IMDA with SkillsFuture SG and Workforce Singapore , to help enterprises chart their AI transformation path and tap on available support. SMEs do not have to undertake their AI journey alone. Since our Digital Enterprise Blueprint (DEB) was launched in May 2024, nearly 6,000 SMEs have participated in AI programmes; over 2,400 in cloud programmes; and almost 2,800 in cybersecurity programmes by our partners. Two new DEB partners – Grab and RSM Stone Forest Forest – will help SMEs accelerate AI adoption and boost cyber resilience. At the ATxSummit Digital Frontier Forum, I outlined how we are strengthening Singapore’s position as a trusted hub where AI is deployed securely and at scale, through the National AI Impact Programme and over 70 AI Centres of Excellence. I was also glad to welcome our new cohort of 21 SG Digital Leaders into our growing community, where they will be equipped to drive AI innovation through IMDA’s SG Digital Leadership Accelerator. The inaugural SME AI Impact Awards, opening for nominations on 1 June, will recognise SMEs that have achieved real business outcomes through adopting AI.
